Look To The Sky

As i sit here
in this room
alone waiting
to see when
God will deliver
me from here.
Waiting to see
what God wants
for me and from me.
I think of all i
have been through
and all i am still
going to go through.
Then i think what
is ahead of me?
Trying not to look
behind at all that
I have got through.
All i have to say
is Lord thank you.

You are a bit of an enigma Adjhe, like you have said yourself, you write quite like a very young person - your writing is done in a simple way, but your themes are not young and don't tell the reader that you have not lived. They are in fact very complicated and thought provoking like this poem.
It's easy to look to the future when you can see joys and accomplishments ahead, it's much harder when you can't see anything to look forward to. Cool write my friend.

LadyBee there's so much to see when we look to the sky.
I've been telling this to people for so many times but they took it as a joke.I'm glad you write this poem,this proved I've been
right all this time.
