Sl!ce of L!fe.

Life's a fragile slice of a knife. But the might in a life has no price.
Desire to overcome everyday struggles.
To live for the wonders & smiles which true love holds.
'Cause the world needs its beauty, its women.
The world needs its music, its rhythm.
The world needs its elderly, their wisdom.
The world needs it youth, its freedom.
The world needs its poets, their words.
The world needs a voice to be heard,
Some peace, a moment to pause, a little less fear.
The world needs to listen to what it refuses to hear.
Ignorance in your ears, no sign of concern in your eyes,
stumbling through the years with a tightly closed mind.
We will find clarity & truth, I demand it,
the mass commands it's by the people for the people so I know my demographics.
Driftin' through a sea of many different kinds of addicts,
Can't stop lying & making wrong choices they know they choose,
the distribution of alcohol, drugs & porno to our youth,
fiends hurting people running to their raging substance use,
hiding from the truth behind a safe, secure excuse.
This' what I have to say...
from killing & stealing to cowards in denial of their child abuse,
I know how to tie a noose! Tie it tight so they can't get loose!!!
I know how to tie a noose! Tied tight so they won't get loose!!!
I know how to tie a noose! Tie it up right so they can't get loose!!!
I know how to tie a noose! Tonight they die, tonight they lose!!!
If I go it doesn't matter if I stay...
..that doesn't make me who I am, I can always change...
...I don't like that I'm this way but I've been forced into a corner...
...forced to fight for my life...
forced to fight a brother!!!

About this poem:
Just a quick jot on a lunch break. A quicker thought than the words made, I guess the bottom line is that this world is gorgeous and at the same time rather ugly so I fight fire with fire to protect those I love!
