For Michael

For Michael

Within shadowed reaches of my soul you move:
Essence of my being, Blood of my vigor.
Softly compelling, a whisper, your voice.
I listen so intently.
Setting my feet into motion,
following again and again
your whisperred promises
out into the night,
Searching
for your sweet visage,
Wondering where I lost you.
Summoning sensation:
Your warm embrace,
the mist of your Whispered welcome;
caressing as it falls upon my cheek,
I make of myself just another Shadow
in this World that We might Touch
and I Pray that you do not Suffer this Separation, as have I.
I would that my Love be spared this tortured longing.

Ah, when I miss Him, I am careful not to cry, lest my longing also afflict Him.

It's all just chastening...
...and tender toment.

Thank you, my friend...

Thank you very much...

You are very kind and I am blessed to be among folks who so enjoy passion.

...Only chastening me for Thee, Beloved:
This passion that burns me,
this need that rends me...

"Take me apart and make me again, Beloved as Thou wouldst but have me be." blushing
