The new year has come
and the old year come
to a close.
What a bang it came
in with.
Did you make gaols
for this year?
Did you make resolutions?
Watch the ball drop.
Enjoy the count down.
This is a new beginning.
A clean slate is set
out in front of you.
Aim for dreams that were
once deeply buried.
May this new year bring
many adventures that will
challenge you this year.

I quit smoking as well... I am up for what challenges life has in store for me this year...I believe in faith/hope, so 2014 feels like the right time for me to live/love... a clean slate feels like the perfect start.
