Reconnect

It was a long time ago when we first met,
I was young and maybe a little silly too,
you was slightly older and boy did I want to connect,
years have passed and chance has given us a new view,

So here I am a lot more mature,
you still have that look and style,
I know what am looking for thats for sure,
looking at you certainly gives me that smile,

Words and messages we now pass on daily basis too,
you vaguely remember who I am,
I for sure could never forget you,
no longer the boy but now am a man,

Time and distance has kept us apart,
memories of you in my mind did linger,
its a new year lets try and make a start,
I can serenade you am a bit of a singer,

I will be sincere and true for you,
you just be who you really are,
together we might just find something true,
between us the distance is no longer that far,

Something in the stars has decided this fate,
coming soon nearer to see me,
I look forward to this our first date,
we will take it slowly and see how things be.

About this poem:
Sometimes we come across those with whom we worked with and it has been a while but then it just happens you get that call, message or look and it happens a connection.
This poem is for my nephew who is now going through this phase and his thoughts prompted me to put down his anxious and yet desired feelings.

Dear Stedan,

Thank you so much for yours very intuitive and very thought provoking yet very factual addition on my blog.

I tried to mail you but you are blocking my country which is same with me?

thanks.

I am very saddened by these revelations Stedan, yet I can't thank you enough because of your valour in the exposure of such an act.

If I may invite you to my response to Molline's (blogger)blog last month, regarding poverty and what causes it, you will find all the facts that I have presented which are rather kept secret for fear of the chaos and anarchy it will create for the common man and the world to know. This includes but not limited to the wealth of the monarch in your country. I have openly exposed what the world can do relative to the manifestation of equality in the distribution of health. Much akin to the causes of the French revolution, only today, the sophistication of life is rather a hindrance in doing so.

If Mandela has a follower that is so astutely directed to use force to attempt to balance this world economy, there would be a global revolution right now and the rich which is only 20 percent of the world would all be lynched to death.

I can of course, send you a copy on my response but you can go and visit and read it for yourself.

thanks so much Stedan and your political correctness is highly shared by me.

Too bad there is very few of us on this matter.

Thanks again and sincerely,
