LONELY STAR

I was once a bright shinning star
With so many hopes and dreams
Nothing beyond reach no distance to far

So many quiet years have slipped by
I'm still out here all on my own
Can you capture my light will you try

I'm a sphere of energy feel my inner heat
When our light rays use to touch
I would turn bright red as a beet

You moved away and I lost my glow
Did you fall right into a new orbit
Or did this new star steal my show

You were my reason for infinite gleaming
My light was once so ominiously bright
Have I lost you to a new moon beaming

Now I'm so tiny as I continue to shrink
I feel the cold lonely emptiness closing in
The once giant star gone in a blink

When a new star is born embrace there light
Don't ever take them for granted
Or send them away drifting into the night

Tell them how bright and beautiful they are
They need to know how much you mean to them
Always keep them from venturing away to far!

About this poem:
talk to you're girlfriend or boyfriend, and never wait until it's to late, for you could find yourself adrift in time and space,an unknown that just exsists, for the sake of exsisting,...you're heart can be bigger than the universe!!!!
