"The Wedding" (Jade/Candy Challenge).

Fabulously, frilly, fabrics found
fit fullest feminine figures,
Finnicky, fancy facials for
fairest faces, flaunting,
Frizzled follicles flowing
from flamboyant ,
flirtatious females,

Fancy footwear,
Flowers....fuchsia, freesia,
Finest feathered feast,
for family friends,
Failing financial flareup,
frustrated father faints,
Fanatical fairytale fantasy
finally fulfilled.

About this poem:
Every word starts with "F".
Each verse has 22 words.
Each verse has 47 syllables.
There is another F word I could
have used.....this was a tough one.
Thank you Jade and Christian,
for the challenge.

I'm just wondering though.......
Is this poetry ??

Hey Mick.....I really didn't expect anyone to accept such a challenge. The fact that you matched syllable count to word count in each section is difficult enough, let alone starting each word with the same letter. To answer your question, "is this poetry?" Absolutely not. Not in any sense of the word. It can barely even qualify as wordplay. It is just an exercise in writing with strict and unnecessary rules. I do commend you for accepting and succeeding in your effort. Thanks for this interesting entry brother Mick. thumbs up cheers

I disagree with the comment above that says this is not a poem. Only one person could have written it and it's someone that appreciates femininity in all its forms both simple and exaggerated. The play with words and sounds demonstrates the author's submission to fate in a world where language is precrafted by our ancestors cool them's a cool pair of shades! dancing
