Poetry Corner Challenge.

Hi all,

Poetry traffic has been very slow on "The Corner" for a while, so I'm laying down a challenge for all poets to write something, anything, even if it doesn't rhyme.
(The treacherous subject
is "Love".)
So get those pens out and share your thoughts.
All poets welcome !!

Good Luck....
Mick.

"The treacherous subject

This will be a challenge for most CS'ers. You know most of them are angry, hurt, hates women, and play the blame game. Lets see how creative they can be.

Here is my made up poem: lol

Hi Carlamee,
I know this challenge will be tough for some,
I'm just trying to inject some activity into the Poets Corner.
What about sharing a Carlamee love story ?

Regards Mick.

Mick asked: "What about sharing a Carlamee love story ?"

Carlamee is a beautiful, intelligent woman, that enjoys making friends with people who share the same morals, values, and outlook on life like she does.
She has never been in love, but one day she hopes to feel those butterfly in her stomach, lose concentration while thinking of her love.

She is polite and respectful to others and always return messages she receives from members of CS. Although, communication is important, most men on CS are incapable of communicating.

These are the categories of Men that contact her on CS:

The profile readers: These Men contact her and said they want to be friends on CS. They get upset when she refuses to read their profiles. Carlamee is smart enough to know people present themselves well in a profile. She interacts with people to know exactly who they are by their responses and views on different topics.

The narcissists: These Men make contact as they think they are special. Their multiple homes, acreage of land, large investments, multiple cars, etc, etc, are not impressive. They have no communication skills and get upset when their ego’s are not stroke.

The misogynists: These are the dumbest set of people on CS. They contact me and are very critical of women, yet they want to be friend with a woman.

The angry: These Men are unable to forgive and forget. They blame the ex’s for all their relationship problems. They become angrier when told to heal before trying to find new love. They don’t take rejection well.

The rude: These Men will send a one liner and they expect me to know what they are talking about. My usually response to them is to have manners, be courteous, and introduce themselves properly.

The drop ins: These Men are not regulars on CS, but when they sign in, they are sure to send a “hello.”

The normal: These Men have good communication skills. They share what’s going on in their lives. They don’t want to date, but they appreciate the friendships they make on CS.

The Men in the first 5 categories fall under the saying “you can’t teach old dogs new tricks.”
They are on CS all day everyday wishing and hoping, but is not willing to fix the problems in their lives.

There you go OP. Carlamee has never been in love and probable never will be. She is a happy and lovely lady.

cheers

Ho Carlamee,

Forgive me if I placed you in an awkward position by asking you for a love poem. It's sad to hear that you haven't found " The One"
in your life. But you come across as being a strong woman of principle and nobody's fool.
Never say never. Thank you for your indepth reply, its appreciated.

Best wishes,

Mizzy, no apology needed. It was a great opportunity to let some CS’ers know who they are although it won’t change a thing.
I’m very luck as not to experience the roller coaster of LOVE. I’m happy to say I’m in the normal group, no baggage.

THANKS for the opportunity.

You wrote: “But you come across as being a strong woman of principle and nobody's fool.”
