MY SOUL

Oh my soul my soul
how will you survive
the arrows thrown
with malice
to break you
into surrendering.

Many a point pierced
bringing tears, flooding
until plugged tight.

Now you quiver in fright
learning, your attacked
by your own might.

Will you weep
salt born tears?
Never,
whilst the heart beats,
you do too.
