You were sleeping in the meadow When I cupped your cheek to Awaken you The valley has been deep And the rivers wide on Your weary soul You have little knowledge Of the powers that Bind your soul But leave that to The hand of your Maker who can Still the storm Within You want to fade Away in this Meadow of Dreams But I only awake You to tell you The battle is Not yet finished You have strength To offer to the Weary of heart To those about To faint for fear Of what's coming On the world Just a little while My sweet child Gird yourself For one more Battle The trumpet is About to sound And your weary Heart shall fight The enemy of Love once more Then heaven will Recieve your shield Of valor And.. Pain shall be No more.
The strength to head face on with battles when it's depleted is when we need these consoling words if only to get beat up one more time.
A great write when we need inspiration and you just gave that for us not to lose hope.
Thanks Jim.

Lindsy.. Thank you sweet. I love it when you say things like that. I'm really not all that strong. A man always needs a good woman to speak a word of comfort. I can't do this valley thing alone. Cafe

Abby.. No more pain. What a pleasant thought. But I would rather suffer the momentary pain of loving, than the eternal pain of those who never cared. Cafe

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
So sad - but hope in the words for those suffering their final journey. Very sensitive, powerful and beautiful write Cafe. Thanks for sharing.
