The Garden Of Eden

Before man there was the sun and the moon
And even the stars appeared soon
Then man came along believin'
He would always be the ruler over the Garden of Eden

One day he met his wife and then for some reason
They knew their lives would be cut asunder
And the day they left the Garden of Eden
Was the first time they'd heard it thunder

They climbed to a mountain top
Overlooking the Garden of Eden
Little knowing they were standing on a jagged rock
That one day might be used by a son to cause his brother to bleedin'

I'm not trying to change anything
It's just that my imagination is in full swing
And from high on a mountain top
Overlooking the Garden of Eden
