God left us

People, what is happening to us?
Conscience under anesthesia,
And the souls have gone blind
Every day there is less and less
Honor,
Less and less light

We're going with the flow
And our hope fades
We're burning down
Filling our emptiness
With fragments of faith.

I'm standing on the edge of the abyss
And my scream breaks
The vanity of existence
Turning melancholy into words.

I can feel the depth of your pain in this poem Lily. I hope it helps just a little bit to write your feelings down. It's very ironic that these barbaric events are taking place in the very land where Jesus preached of kindness and humanity.

I hate to tell you; but he was never there, in the first place. Since the Ancient Greeks, it has been pointed out, that man goes around inventing god/s. A testament to this, is the fact that about 3000, god/s have been invented thus far, with, I'd imagine, a few more to come, yet..

In some ways you are right... I think paganism has existed even for much longer than 3000 years, but I believe in a higher power, not at the level of any religion, but rather as a some kind of a powerful source of light energy... it’s a matter of choice for each of us.. no one can know this for sure. I have been in science for many years as a researcher, and I came to this conclusion - a certain force exists. It's just sleeping now for some reason

Salamuna, Very deep in your feelings, hoping things get better for you. Looking at our bright cosmos at night brings us to explore that distant light that make us find peace...
Jesus was fully human since he was born from a human mother. He experienced hunger, pain, suffering and died. When linguistics compared the old scrolls with the new ones, there were word by word accuracy which makes the bible today is indeed in its original form.
Don't let your faith, beliefs or whatever it may be; close you off to the joys and wonders of the world of knowing to figure out the answer to any questions.
There is definitely Energy in the Universe Salamuna, we are made of body, mind and soul. Wherever each of these go after we die is of your own understanding.
Not here to be a Christian apologetic, I believe that faith and science can work together. SM
