Autumn"s love

The smell of sea foam,
The color of burning leaves
The sound of a flying wedge of cranes
It is autumn, my friend!
Only the boulevard lamp is in bloom ,
On cast iron branches
Illuminating the darkness.
It is autumn, my friend!
The trembling thoughts about
How to save all your loved ones
It is autumn, my friend!
And the tears of love
To everything that dies now
Without this love.
It is autumn, my friend!

Many thanks Lily for joining the challenge,
It's good to stir up some poetic activity...
I think your Autumnal poem is one of your best poems so far on the corner,

" It is autumn, my friend!
Only the boulevard lamp is in bloom ,
On cast iron branches
Illuminating the darkness."

This is beautiful imagery. I also know that there is deep meaning in your metaphors.
Take care Lily,
Mick.
