Forgotten By All
I love motorcycles and I had my bike for many years but I had to sell before I left to come to work in Saudi Arabia. I treated her well, I treated her kind. When I returned last year with some money in my pockets I decided to to buy her back, When I got to her it was too late. I found her broken neglected body in a rusty mess. This poem was a tribute to her life.

Letting yourself go
I wrote this a long time ago because I need to forgive myself of letting someone control me and to psychically and mentally abuse me. It has caused me many issues to this day as my anxiety, depression and Post Trauma issues come and go. I still manage the best to my knowledge and take each day a new one and not worry about what was and see what is now.
Desires, Departures
(Cue mysterious soliloquy concerning romantic backstory! ;) ) I wanted to be there, she wanted me there. But, it couldn't last. Well, so we said. Of course, all the obvious things would suggest it, and I guess we had settled that agreeing on it was as good as if it was absolute- This 'probability'. And I wondered, if it wouldn't work until the end, couldn't it work for a while? Couldn't I hold her, if I promised to let go? I wondered, when she said she knew she would have to let go, if she hadn't though I would have to as well? Was this to protect her, or me, or both? I wanted to say I knew it would be hard, but the only thing that would make it hard, would be that it was so good.
