Those beautifull clouds in the sky They always catch my eye So soft and inviting I like looking at the clouds seeing what I can make out of them Sometimes I see angles sometimes animals sometimes faces Those soft clouds look like they wou
The Capgras delusion theory (or Capgras syndrome) is a disorder in which a person holds a delusion that a friend, spouse, parent, or other close family member has been replaced by an identical-looking impostor. Imagine, if you will, that one by one your friends and family– the people closest to you– are being removed and replaced with exact duplicates. Although they are identical in appearance and manner, you are certain that these people are not your loved ones. They are impostors. While most people would become deeply paranoid in such a scenario, there are some individuals who experience such things every day without fear… and just wonder, “why?” Such is the life of people stricken with Capgras’ Syndrome.

What path is taken Cannot be taken back And footprints mark And wash away Like memories we thought Would be remembered A journal always open Better left blank

Recently I had a worrying health scare but thank God all tests and scans were clear. I wrote this little poem in the hospital car park. I need to say...... It was Cancer that made me write so without it I wouldn't be part of this lovely family-like corner. Thanks for all your reads and comments. Special thanks to "C" for kind support , and "L" for prayers. Onwards and upwards..........Mick.
It's not often I write something like this, but decided to as it is a subject close to my heart, not talked about, and often swept under the carpet.... Bi-polar disorder, is a very horrible thing, and is a lifelong battle, and you have to be strong enough, always, for the next round...Thankyou...Andrew...xxx
Soft-tissue damage...much like damage to the broken heart.

Another box of Kleenex; another silly poem; sneezing coming easy; home alone. Like an empty liquor bottle tossed on the side of the road, no one wants you when you have a cold. Like an uneven sidewalk challenging your every step; my onl

A problem that is quite literally growing and growing and growing. When I went to school in the 80's, you could count the fat people on one hand. Now you would probably need the hairs on your head!
It's work but it's working...

It just seems that health care in this country has gotten evil and way too greedy.
After my hysterectomy, I was prescribed an estrogen patch. It worked great for two weeks then I became noticeably weaker in my hips, legs and calves.Kicking off bed covers is a real challenge. Raising up out of a chair and walking is a real struggle and the doctors have no answers. On top of all of this, I broke my middle toe on my left foot while vacuuming the house.
Many people you wouldn't know suffer from this problem, It can be brought on by many different ways, mine through battles of operations i've fought in my life, it can get dangerous to oneself if not treated so just take care of yourselves!
