Thoughts wrap around life bones like ligaments keep the parts in relation to the whole supple for flexibility like tendons bands of fibrous tissue connect muscle to bone carry tensile forces produce movement, fluid, propel.
Hierarchical structures difficult to quantify nonlinear, viscoelastic behavior difficult to analyze. Then come you the fall, hard. Stretched, twisted, bruised soft-tissue damage, great body fluids puddling mixing with blood.
Breaks are clean even compound ones reset and repair periosteum and marrow cells replicate and transform cohesive strength returns good as new memories not as strong. Severe soft-tissue damage where layer upon layer is torn requires a much longer time to heal.
***
How is it with injury one forgets how to move forward left and right down and up making small adjustments in the circles of life?
Though exercise is painful immobilization is the enemy of healing. Baby steps, the current goal moving unassisted in a straight line, with little pain no crutch to lean on moving forward step by step hoping tomorrow there will be dancing.

Dear GNJ
Someone told me you were on the injured list, I had no idea your mishap was so serious. We who have come to know you on CS take for granted that your narrative will be of the highest order, we expect no less from you...
HOWEVER
May I wish you a complete restoration to full health, and also sincere wishes that your dancing days will soon be back with you as good as new. I hope you will accept these hugs with my good wishes

Hi gnj4u, I have had many injuries to my feet, legs and so on..Last year I pulled a groin muscle that was the worst thing I ever did. Just remember the promise that this to shall pass. Try to take this time to get some much needed rest.wish I was nearby I would surley come to your aid.
As Mr. rogers would say."I wish you a speedy recovery." JG....
gnj, as the anatomy holds both soul and sole, and ligaments and thoughts align, may we sway to the beat of life with only a little pain. Thank you friend. ;-)
Entertwined and blended, the sinew forms us. Soft tissue injuries take what seem like eons to heal, hon. Do try the Hyaluronic Acid as it is also good for the joints and is easily absorbed by the body. If you want, you can supplement it with Joint Juice too.
May you heal swiftly Dear Friend and move gently day by day.

you're a past master at combining the corporeal with the ethereal...,

Hey dear Massachusetts, i just read the comments, something i dont usually do, and realized you have been injured, a speedy recovery dear soul!!! love and light... p.s. please keep us posted, ok?
Hi, Earlgreytea, I am most happy that you enjoyed it. Your comments always humble me..."corporeal with the ethereal..." What an elegant expression of understanding. And, yes, I am on the road to recovery (from the ankle and the bronchitis!). Am just now, clumsily, graduated from both crutches and soon (hopefully) to loose the large Aircast for the smaller one. Who knows, I may be back into shoes just in time to take them off for the summer! Thank you for your concern! Hi, trurorob, So true, "smallest damage" is often a matter of misperception. It is the length of recovery that truly determines the scope. Your return to the pages of Poet's Corner is greatly welcomed!

Healing is moving tho any fracture can immobilized us! Any unfortunate accident helps us to realize how great it is to be free to move without crutches and perhaps to take life easy. Sure, tomorrow will be fine, hope you'll do marathon dancing. Superb write as usual gnj4u!

Good God! Joy,you are indescribable, you never dropped the slightest hint about your injury nor your bronchitis in your mail to me what a reamrkable lady you are, instead you were comforting me regarding my D-i-l,You are God's most beautiful angel on earth. May God grant you a complete and speedy recovery.May He give you the strength to bear your pain.Lots of love. and big bear huggie
Hi, lorentz, I wish you well in your recovery! The closest I come to a marathon, other than viewing the Boston one, is doing Project Bread's annual 20-mile WALK for Hunger. Hi, thelmatalla, Your comment is most kind. Although I have always appreciated being free to move without crutches, I did not appreciate how hard it is to move with them! Also, I am getting a lesson in taking life easy. Hi, paloma66, That you hold me in kind regard means much to me. Thank you for your well wishes and "Lots of love. and big bear huggie ". To all, Thank you for taking the time to read and comment. I appreciate it very much.
