Ah, mystique of harmonium, encased keys, with foliaceous laminae, the eyes to please. Its reeds and bellows produced sound so sweet holding its tune amidst humidity and heat.
Unobtrusive, no megalith, the instrument stood festooned with tassels on meticulously carved wood. As odoriferous fragrances of spring danced around tempered musical notes, waves turned into sound.
Depressed key to reed, its pipes irrigate air bring joyous tears, effective to dispel despair.
Hi, shadow1950, Thank you for expressing appreciation of my effort. Can't say it was "fun", more like work; but, I can at least say I did attempt it. Thank you for taking the time to challenge us beyond our comfort zone. Hi, paloma66, "attempting" is the operative word here. Thank you for your kindness. Hi, sophiasummer, I had to look up "harmonium" and what I saw were ones without pedals and external pipes but rather keys, reeds and bellows encased in a box-like frame. It's your imaginative soul that allowed you to hear the music and offer such a generous comment. Hi, Poetnumber1, Yes, my poem did "meet the challenge", well... Your comment is a most generous one. To all, Whereas it took courage for me to post, it took generosity of spirit for you to comment. I thank each of you for your kindness and support of my effort.

I saw a beautiful organ playing and pipes so beautifully carved.
the pedals so delicately trod.
the silent hummfff of air carefully played to away.
You write as I know so deeply, enough to allow me to see the music.
