From Princess-Diana genes though William and Kate son George makes his way into the world of royalty bringing to life dreams each Commoner dreams of the world a better place.
His cries are the cries of nations asking darkness to yield to light a morsel to be fed, water to sip swaddling clothes, safe and tight growing pains shared, by love surrounded playful moments in which to delight future to live, safe, well-grounded.
So much weight placed upon shoulders of our gentle youth to right woeful wrongs yet done spread hope, promise of truth innocence becomes its purveyor wears precious prince-charming smile silver-spooned, wrapped in lace.
Welcome George Alexander Louis. In world history, make your place .

Hello gnj4u
A warmly written narrative indeed. I hope by the time the new born Prince reaches his three score years and ten, that the world is a much better and safer world than it is now.
Perhaps by the 2080's mankild will have learned to solve international disputes without resort to wars, perhaps poverty and famine will be a thing of the past, possibly the burgeoning world population will be under control and manageable.
Who knows, corporate and personal greed may have been replaced by genuine efforts to save the planet...
It will take a great, great deal of effort and resolve from all parts of the world for the hopes and wishes I mention to bear any fruit - My fervent wish is that the infant Prince George Alexander Louis lives to see all the above come to pass.
A delightful welcome to world for the child, and from way across the Atlantic... Many thanks, Joy.

Dear Joy,
This is a truly beautiful tribute to our dearest Prince George. I felt rather sad watching William holding his Son, I could not stop thinking about his Mum and how very proud she would have been. Thank you for sharing your lovely poem.

Hi Joy, this is really wonderful and makes a huge statement about how things need to change and each generation has the burden (if you will) or the chance to make such a difference in the lives of so many. I will message you privately about a thought I wanted to share. Have a good one, Celtic
Keep writing. That is what makes a good poet. Take the things that few notice and make them notice. Show them how things are passing them by that matter. To me, a poet does just that and brings the whole world into clearer focus. HUGS!~
