Start the day with a smile, start the day away from negativity, and all that brings you down, don't let the world suffocate you, don't you drown, don't you be anything they can see, always feel free to be you, the you that you know, instinctively
Colours……………., colours mean so much don’t they? They can define your day, blue or grey, Or soothing and colourful, feel the hint of spring On it’s way, Blue is cold, like a winters day, ….but snow, snow Brings out the child in you for you to

This poem was inspired by the fairy tale mirror mirror on the wall... I thought mirror mirror on the ceiling would be a nice adult Twist. This was part of a project where we were decorating mirrors... My full length mirror was decorated fit for Freddie Mercury... and was exhibited at the Alley Theatre Strabane
I think I have a point.
God's own Will for us always supersedes what we want for ourselves, so we need to be mindful of that when we ask, and wait, for His response.??

Who becomes you when you cant be? Who becomes the order of your destiny? Who were you when you were you? What changed, what made you be, the you thats now, someone took control, left you isolated and all alone, And life became, what you are
I have an open mind, come what may, as long as you believe in what I say, My open mind never falters, I’m open , but, I have a defence, It’s a secret, that I cannot tell you, I’ll always agree, with what You say to me, and I’ll play the part, e
It seems that the only way forward is to go back, When things were simple, no attack, too many Freedoms mean too many hurts, too many dies, Too many cries, It’s a strange analogy between then and now, Progress means we don’t know how, We ne

On January 27, 1967, NASA astronauts Virgil I. Grissom, Edward H. White, II, and Roger B. Chaffee were aboard an Apollo spacecraft and Saturn IB rocket for what was supposed to be routine ground testing of the systems. America was heading for the Moon, and all-up testing was designed to ensure spacecraft functions, the Launch Control Center, and other critical pieces required to get to the Moon. The test was considered non-hazardous. A 100% oxygen-fed fire ignited in their Command Module, and all three perished in just a few minutes as launch pad personnel desperately tried to open the multi-layered hatch which was designed to be hard to remove to preserve spacecraft hull integrity. Others tried to fight the fire while rescue crews arrived, but it was to no avail. Launch Complex 34 was decommissioned after the manned Apollo 7 launch, and the launch platform left as part of a memorial to the astronauts. In honor of their lost lives, NASA also deemed that the astronauts should be forever honored by honoring their crew name of Apollo 1, which would have been the first manned Earth-orbit flight for the Command and Service Modules. Their official mission patch is black-bordered in publicity photos of the men taken before their deaths, rather than do afterwards in memoriam. Some 55 years after their deaths, the LC-34 platform still stands, with two plaques honoring the men attached to the platform legs, as well as additional memorial information added to the site.
Entangled entrapped and alone I find myself in danger Near the lonely zone Not even the birds fly today I have no hot air balloon I'm just marooned in this hideaway Few have known near the lonely zone If I had music perhaps I could plan a

The old Oak tree was in pretty bad shape. It had been hit by lightning in 78. Kids climbed on it and broke some branches. About 50 feet away there was a wild cherry, it's bark was very smooth and it's leaves so green. Every year it m

Why?, Why? does there need to be an answer to existence, Why not exist? No one knows, where we go, where this all goes, if we could only stop looking, we may enjoy being here! Lets all just drink Tennessee whiskey and then go to bed!
Why would a God create us?, if we never existed before, why would a God make us, limited forever more?, And why, oh why, do we die? If God created us to be, give us a glimpse, let us see, what could be? and take it away, why oh why, what can you say
Reflections of a peaceful home in winter in the New England countryside.
In remembrance of 75th Anniversary of D-Day June 6, 2019 when thousands died to defend the world from tyranny. Lest we forget.
Why does nothing change? You know this and I know that, I'm right and you are wrong, who's bigger?, who's more strong?, Who wants control?, noone can let it be, noone can see, it does not matter, but its up to you, and its up to me, to let it b

So you enjoy what you do? until life intrudes on you, and tomorrow becomes a chore, destined forevermore, until you can see the way, that's the price you will pay, not being enlightened, always too frightened to look outside of yourself for the a

“What is man, that you should magnify him, that you should set your mind on him, that you should visit him every morning, and test him every moment?” (Job 7:17 & 18)
We went fishing after my Godpa passed away this September. I went fishing with my Godmother as that was the way she wanted to remember him. They love fishing. I saw a bird fly in the sky so I wrote about it.
Once upon a time, long before creation , long before indignation was a part of it all, there was no space and there was no place, all that was, was thought and energy, a creative force longing to be, the you and the me, that we came to be. A
And the cost of living is rising faster than the tide, We have no control, just along for the ride, I can’t go on holiday, I can’t go away, I can’t be there, and I can’t afford to stay, Foreign interference makes life a misery, for all of y
