I wish that you would want me I wish that you were mine I wish that you would kiss me instead of acting like all is fine I wish that you would need me I wish that you would care I wish that you would miss me whenever and everywhere I wish
What is the distance? The word hurts, it pierces the soul painfully, the heart breaks so much! Not to be in another country, in another place, is a paradox! You can be thousands of miles away, but not far away, and sometimes you sleep in the same
I had a dream about you! And the Moon felt jealous of you and she decided to leave because she didn't feel full, now she was half. I had a dream about you! And the words she said to you were of love and passion, I did not feel any shame in e
this poem i write last night hope that you will like it, thank you
I know many of you, dear friends, are in happy relationships, so this is just poetry. I personally am of the opinion that love can and is to last forever and ever, I just can’t write about joyful merriment and such things. So I may sound gruesome for many. But when I think of parting and such things a feeling of sadness overcomes me and I feel I can put it on paper. Thank you very much for your inspiring poetry.
Beginning to heal.
Sometime you wait for months and realise you were never enough. That's when you need to be strong enough to find you again.
Reminiscing....
In the haiku, "In shadows we roamed" sets the scene of a relationship that once existed, where the lovers were intertwined in each other's lives, sharing moments both bright and dark. "Echoes of love now faded" signifies that the intensity and passion of their love have diminished over time, leaving behind only faint remnants of what once was. Finally, "Lost souls find solace" suggests that despite the loss and heartache, there is still hope for healing and finding peace in the aftermath of lost love. It speaks to the resilience of the human spirit and the possibility of moving forward despite the pain.
One more last 15 minutes of fame for Flying Dutchman
Swan Song It's a very old story. Seems to happen when someone confuses wanting to be loved with being in love. You wanted me to love you. I obliged. Then, joyously you set about building for me a lovely cage, polishing the image you
A TRUE FEELING, MY FRIEND I LOVED FOR SO LONG, DID HE EVER KNOW IM NOT SURE.
I thought I found someone special in you, But all you are is just untrue. I demand a lot from my man, I do, But I give it back tenfold, cos I am true. Hard to know who lost out here, Hopefully you cos you didn't care. But dwelling on loss, I
The poem is for those who value love. I hope to find a life partner who believes in love
Here lies a broken man Heart shattered and torn Broken from the woman he loved She was his rose, she, his thorn He fell so deep that The oceans depth couldn't measure his love She treated him like an option He thought she was sent from above
it's about love
Time goes by so quickly Here I sit with a glass of wine And the memory of you Memories of the past Can soothe the soul But memories of regret Can make you numb All possibilities are left Only in your mind
People need to be totally honest and not hide behind a screen.Have a pal that has been devastated too many times by scammers and such.
Did you ever have the feeling That was the best you ever had Did you help it feel good Or did it get there All By itself. It's said life's not about love Yet, if it's knockin on your door Would you open it wide. Your face has a smile
I wrote this poem after breaking up with a girl friend after living together for three years. One day it ended suddenly and knew it would not the same again.
Just trying to express my feelings, to let go off the pain I am feeling
Frustration fills my soul, As I search for something whole, Something missing, something true, Something that I only find in you. But you are far away, Living your life day by day, And though I try to go on, My heart can't help but feel forl

HEARTACHE & LOVE FROM PAST PRESENT & BEYOND. MY LOVE FOR YOU IS FOREVER
Just a silly Idea from what women may think about men and maybe it's all wrong and welcome any advice or thoughts to be corrected.
Today is the last day I write to you, for you have never replied, my heart has died, and all that I was is lost and gone, My love, my darling, I cannot stay I cannot live another day, don't be sad if I'm not here, I cannot shed another tear.
This poem was written 38 years ago after my Love had died In the States. I would have taken her eternal breath Into me and she would have dwelt within me always. This was not to be. Maybe It Is the curse of one such as myself to walk his many lifetimes alone. Not likely, this Is me we're talking about. As you see, always have to lighten the mood when thinking of this lady. My thinking here, If I go back to an older corner, where I belong, why not make my first write an old write that means much to me. The poem tells the way It should have been.
SOMEONE I CAN'T FORGET
I scream in silence Tattooed in the wisp of Survival I see your betrayal as a sin As I fight for your misplaced love You have left me with this crimson anger Falling from my eyes, weeping from my flesh I look in the mirror your face replac
I wrote this 6-20-2022. This is a sad, sentimental song that we've all had a taste of, or perhaps still has a taste in our mouth from yesterday's life. When I wrote this, I wrote it here before placing on paper/ music sheets. So, this is an original first draft without music or rewriting, adding more or subtracting less. Until then...
I'm.no strange to love lost It has no quarrels with me No mercy at there feet Just relentless no dates Not even.the tide would take me out....... So I plod along my.merry way Nothing to show for my.life just pain I will go.now and bury.my head
sometimes you miss talking to people who left your life...
Be part of the future, depart from the past.
In the poem Missing You, the poet Ramaking follows the tradition of the minstrels, the poets wanderers, belonging to the Middle Age in France, Portugal and Spain. This tradition was brought later to Brazil with the Portugueses in the colonial period. As a rule, in a dramatic tone, the minstrel describes the loss or departure of a loved one. This tendency was incorporated in the center of Brazil by the "caipiras" , regional country singers that ended up becoming a popular phenomenon of the Brazilian music. Truly speaking, the roots of the minstrels can be traced to the Classical Antiquity and in epics like Iliad and Odyssey from Homer.
Fond memories...
In my mind's eye, when I looked at what should have been our "holding hands" ... I saw that yours had silently released its hold , like mute falling pearls let go from its strand of gold ... Loved you too truly to make any deman
Love can die for different reasons. Two reasons are the physical loss of a loved one and the emotional loss of a 'once-loved' one. Both can be traumatic.
Just thoughts

Ty vyoleta..' Thank you dear for reading. For me it's a matter of trying to connect the right feeling with the right thought in the way I'm personally expericing it, and not in terms of how I think it's suppose to sound. I listen to my own self-talk...
What the duce was in that juice? Who's middle aged, you are a mere boy......
