Juggling InThe Park

Juggling
In the park
I think it was three weeks before Easter
Walking in the park
I think it was below freezing
People talking
People walking
A woman selling Mountain Dew
In a gas station
Wishing me a nice day
Can you dig it
Yes I can
I've been waiting such a long time
For Sunday
Another day in the park
I think it was March 19
Slow motion drivers
In the Hardee's drive thru
Getting sausage and biscuits
And maybe some gravy
Wait a minute
I used to pay way less than this
9 dollars
and 8 cents
Listen children
All is not lost
Just some coinage
Just some coinage
I've been waiting such a long time for the day

Finding Peace

Find calmness now
Space meeting grace
Open up somehow
In a physical place
Widening horizons
Let you’re spirit grow
Energy uprisen
An arching rainbow
Relaxation grows
No barriers abound
New dawn arose
Peace will be found

Star In Our Own Show

Listen closely and you will hear
The most important message of all
A key to the dreams you hold so dear
An escape from the sweltering thrall

The subtle signs you’ve been missing
Processing your thoughts to no ends
All along what you’ve been dismissing
Living alone in a world just pretends

Before saying anything come to a stop
Explore the depths of your feelings
For in an instant an idea might pop
A new approach for healthy healings

Discover first what you need so clearly
What anyone else truly needs to know
What any of us really want so dearly
To become the star in our own show

aboue life

Build around you walls of beauty,
corrals of goodness,
rivers of justice..
..and evil will be far from you.

(in the Grace of God, under the Karma of Buddha, in the Fate of Universe).

First Christmas Morn

The sky was dark with sprinkles of stars
An extra bright star shone from afar
In the silence was a loud baby’s cry
While in the Heavens there was a wonderful sigh

God had come down as a small child
Holy – so tender and mild
Wondrous Angels singing on high
As they hovered in the night sky

Shepherds witnessing the wondrous birth
3 Kings bringing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh
Our long awaited Savior had been born
On that first beautiful Christmas morn

The Quotes Garden - VII – Where’s my Home

"The Quotes Garden"

[ VII ]

Where’s my Home

“Where’s my Home? Where’s my Home,
If not within the boundary that ties a dot
Which even far beyond, unfolded all?..
And thus, the loam that binds me here – a tome,
Abode of light conceives in ciphers of a knot
- Where’s the Universe, a bending of a whole,
As Nothingness itself, becomes a roam!

O, Muse! Thou ART as stars unravels others,
Thy Soul as one endeavours ends –
To human world, where’s thrives of greatness, born!..
- As wholes hath use, as halves is what devours,
As dots within the dots which quadrants mends,
Not more than less, nor lengths, nor widths! I mourn,
For I – the dot, hath found away of where’s a Home!..”

FAITH AS A SHIELD

What is faith? One would ask...
On what does one have to focus
Or believe to have faith? 'Cos no matter
What happens, the end will be good!
For I see the rapture of my soul
Above my neighbour or the passer by!

My God so true and loving to me
Makes me see the brighter side!
The light in the darkness, inspires me
To have the faith of salvation so true!
So no matter what, death or destruction
Boldly would I face, with the Shield of Faith!

When all the world is so unsure of life
When no one is anywhere near or dear!
When all dreams are but awash for awhile
All I have, is my faith to assure!
So, I wear my faith as a shield to protect me
From the snares of the wicked and the Devil!

Freedom of thought!

The thunder rolls above my head, some God is angry, something I said?
If lighting strikes then I am done, nowhere to hide, nowhere to run,
Did I take some name in vain? Release thy wrath? instill the pain?
God above will show his love when all obeys, what God says!
But I just don’t know what I should do, so many God’s, which one is true?
I think I will take a different view and be myself not follow you!
In this world of diversity who knows what’s right who knows what’s true,
I won’t take sides or follow blindly, I’ll be me, and I'll never deny your right to see, what’s true to you, is the way to be.

I LOOK INSIDE…

I look inside to find my soul,
To find the part that makes me whole,
To see what’s there that makes me feel,
To figure out what’s fake, what’s real.

I look outside and see his face.
It tells me of his sex and race,
I see the rest of him as well,
Without his soul, an empty shell.

I look inside to clear my mind
Of the turmoil that I find;
Each day a dreadful news event
Mars its slate and leaves me spent.

I look outside, and see the world;
The scenes before me that unfurl.
Finding peace there is in vain,
And so…I look inside again.

I look inside to find my SOUL,
It keeps me sane, it keeps me whole.
It doesn’t leave, it doesn’t go;
Not like he did so long ago.

I. Look. Inside.
