From the heart

I know one thing for sure
I love God everyday more and more

His powerful love
I cannot even express
it's filled with emotions
everyone should have

So don't be afraid
to love God all the way
He will show you a path
of a wonderful day

A time full of peace
and stress free time
trusting the Lord
everything will be fine.

INESTIMABLE HEART

On a dark lonely road north of Little Rock,
Winds howling through the trees,
Maggie drove along slowly,
Feeling quite ill at ease,

She rounded a curve barely creeping,
She could hardly see the road,
She clicked high beams on then suddenly,
She saw a figure coming her way slow,

A tiny little girl in a stained white gown,
Clutching her dripping dolly tightly to her chest,
Maggie pulled alongside and opened the door,
And nearly lost all of her breath,

"Get in child," Maggie said comforting,
This heartache barely pulled herself in,
Maggie saw the bloodstains on her nightgown,
Then this grateful Little Angel grinned,

"Why are you alone Sweetheart?", Maggie asked,
"And tell me why you are here?",
"He dragged me into his car so fast!", she cried,
Then came flooding, a tiny Angel's tears,

Maggie brushed them away softly,
"I promise to do all I can",
"What's your name child?," she asked,
"Naomi May Massey, will you please help me ma'am?"

It's been seven years now,
Since that dark rainy night,
Naomi's in such a happy home now,
But Maggie often wonders what might,

Have happened to this child,
Had she not passed that way,
It was not her intended route,
She had detoured to avoid a delay,

Clutching her heart she now realizes,
Her true destination suddenly revealed,
It wasn't her hands steering her car,
The mighty Hands of God had taken the wheel.

About this poem:
I believe God does at times have Angels intervene in His children's lives. Only, it may not become clear to us until years later.

A Place for worries

Cast all your cares
give Him your worries
He has the shoulders
to bear them away

Who can you find
who always would do this,
day after day
until time is no more?

When we find no one to listen
about all our troubles
it has often been said-

Look unto God
and first seek to know Him,
then as His child
this privilege own.

MOM'S 80th BIRTHDAY

Mom is 80 years old today
So I would like to take this time to say
She has had quite a fulfilling life
Even though some of it was not without strife

Back in the 30’s entered the depression
But being thrifty proved to be a very good lesson
During the 40’s WWII came around
She was an enemy plane spotter and took care of her son

Along came the 50’s with 2 more kids to raise
But with this added challenge to her it didn’t seem to phase
In the 60’s all her children graduated from High School
The boys were off to College and I became a work mule

The 70’s and early 80’s were rough years indeed
But she managed to pull us all through with a positive lead.
Now the 90’s and early 2000’s have been the best years yet
With many more to come so let us not forget

She maybe 80 years old and has become a little slow
But this little lady is the same Mom we all love and know

Charvak

"Be indebted and take the ghee
to the last drop," when said it he,
he did not mean that man lazy be
and the truth behind fails to see.

Be indebted and the ghee you take
to enjoy your life for life's sake,
not lazy man himself to make
but to remain ever awake.

Life is short and born accident;
water, air, earth, fire element
together with space do augment
the human life development.

On this earth if you are born once,
enjoy your life and gladly dance;
at other sayings look askance,
because for you there is no chance

to be born on this earth again.
Once this body is free from pain
of living, people say in vain:
Moksha the soul does not attain.

What remains after cremation?
How does not one get salvation?
With death ends life's crowded action.
So no soul is in operation.

Morpheus

Morpheus my sweet lover
How I long for thee
Wrap your arms around me
Take me to new places to see

Each night I come to seek thee
I have a desperate need
Day time is for all to share
The night belongs to you and me

Weighing All

Sits in judgment, this life of chance
present to twelve chosen women, men
weighing all that lies in balance
what behavior could not amend

present to twelve chosen women, men
as around the table, with awareness show
what behavior could not amend
‘til the hour nears for the c*ck to crow

as around the table, with awareness show
all that is for them to know
‘til the hour nears for the c*ck to crow
when justice has nowhere else to go

all that is for them to know
guardian angels gates do tend
when justice has nowhere else to go
twelve, sharing, caring at the end

guardian angels gates do tend
where innocence freed, guilt pays for sin
twelve, sharing, caring at the end
step forward, to let time begin, again.

where innocence freed, guilt pays for sin
weighing all that lies in balance
step forward, to let time begin, again.
Sits in judgment, this life of chance.

I Have A Friend

I have a friend
who died for me,
who rose again,
who set me free.
Freed from sin
and every flaw,
and all the empty
reasons I lived for.

Tiny dreams
and short lived laughs,
just puny drops
of life's big glass.
On a deep blue sea
he has me sailing,
storm clouds flee
‘cos it's him that’s reigning.

As rays of sunshine
fall upon my face,
my scars now smiles
of erased mistakes.

Jesus, yes that’s his name, wants to be your friend, that’s why he came.
That’s why he also has a boat for you, would you like to know him to?

Her

No one understood
what my heart
was searching for...

No one could tell
what my soul
really needed...

Only God knew
my seeking
my desires...

He created her
her soul
her flesh...

He created her
beautiful rose
just for me...

I will protect
her from
burning sun...

Keep her warm
in the cold
nights to come...

With her
I will dance
in the rain...
