The Magical Realm Of Faraway

The Magical Realm Of Faraway

In a mystical land is The Magical Realm Of Faraway

A magical place of the elves were the dragons play

The dark is lit by luminous plants their glow never dies

Where winged pixies play amidst million's of fireflies

A magical place where tomorrow is never planned

Where the magic of the every day is always grand

With their scales of passion pink mixed with green

Oceans of mermaids playing sirens songs are seen

A place that values their songs as the stories are told

Written with sterling silver quills in inks of pure gold

All the day flying about on a silken silvery cloud

Where every manner of dream and dreaming is proud

There where your wishes may blow in the breeze

Candy canes for money of the realm free as you please

Where the Moon shines so full it's really bright

And around the camp fires are elf songs all night

So when you tire of the woes of the common world

Of it's bitterness, sorrows, and the hatred unfurled

And should your wish then be for a better time

In a magical realm missing hatred, fear, and crime

A world may be changed starting with a right view

And the magic starts right there inside of you

If you truly believe that magic can be done

Passing that along and changing one by one

We can change it to a magic place like Faraway

A mystical place where everyone can play

Sharing all that's good where there is no fear

Then we can all say that Faraway is right here!

Twisted Nursery Rhymes

Mary had a lamb one day
It was young, plump and juicy
Quick as a wink in the oven it went
And was roasted to perfection

Mary went to school one day
The lamb not there to save her
Fell over, broke her leg
And ended up in traction

In the corner little Jack Horner
A boy so strange and weird
Plays with his bum, sticks in his thumb
Yells out, ‘Eureka! I’m in.’

Then there was Miss Muffet
Who espied him from her tuffet
Decided he’s kinky, said quick as a winky
‘Let’s run off and live in sin.’

There was Mary, who was quite contrary
In her garden she was hiding
There were swingers and winners
And nude lesbians all around

Jack was nimble and he was quick
But he got hit with a dirty big stick
He was where he should not be
Hiding in the bushes he was found

While up the hill Jack did trot
And the damn Jill ran right after
Tripped him up when he reached the top
Then burst out in laughter

Down he tumbled over and over
Until he hit a mighty oak tree
Hobbled home, jumped into bed
And stayed home thereafter

The Taming of Bundango

From out of the East she came riding side saddle
She was looking for romance way out West
She came into town smelling of roses
And wearing a dress that was covered in frills

Into the saloon she daintily walked
It went so quiet you could hear a pin drop
The men all stared with eyes like saucers
And the women glared with envious hearts

The worst affected was the roughest of all
His chin was dragging along the floor
He could shoot the wings of a fly at a distance
But come to ladies he was as clumsy as hell

He stuttered and choked just saying his name
While she stood there waiting patiently
At last he managed so she understood
That this was the man they called Bundango

A man that was feared by one and all
Who smiled while he slowly killed you
A rattlesnake’s poison meant nothing to him
He’d bite off it’s head and chew it

She held out her hand for him to kiss
And his heart almost gave up beating
The Cuban cigar between his lips
Forgotten hit the floor sizzling

It’s sad to say that she had done
Where no-one else had succeeded
She tamed the beast, this man Bundango
Now a gentleman of the West

Those magic years

No one was gonna fool me..
The blue sky was merely the
reflection of trick mirrors
Clouds..it was simple. They
were masses of cotton hanging
by hidden wires-
So called 'real people' were
actually wooden dolls carved
by aliens and dangled from strings
by invisable claw hands
My school teachers were whittled
from alien ugly sticks and showed
up at my school one day for the
soul purpose of tormenting my soul
The earth was nothing more than a
cosmic eyeball in space
I firmly believed that my parents
were spawned in the back hills of
some hippy farm and the product of
some genetic experiment gone terribly
wrong
Such was my thinking when I was nine
years old
All the pieces seemed to fit and for
me the evidence for my case was
overwhelming
But sadly, those years have come and
gone and my magical logic faded with
them
I faced a new world where I discovered
that the sky was really blue..that much
I could handle
But the uglyness of people I learned came
from within their own hearts and not from
the programed control of aliens
Search as I may I found no hidden strings
attached to the backs of people which was
a big let down in its own right
To my amazement people were actually as evil
as they appeared to be..or as good
Still, every now and then I wish for my old
friend the earth eyeball to return and still
hope to lift a shirt someday to find those
hidden strings controlling people
Oh, for those magic years to return if only
for a day~

Field of Dreams

Time Traveler
Faces, family names
A winding, meandering
Sense of place
Not far away
These hills
That feed a brook
Snow melting
In the sweet spring
Turn into apple blossoms
Covering the ground
Of fertile fields
Tilled so lightly
And made so ready
For the planting

For good or bad
The world we know
For neighbors fed
Will not go hungry
In the wind
And in the cold
Of uncertainty
Be shared instead
For humanity
And weary hearts
Who have known
No lovers
Give up
So that others
May live and breed
cast away in
A field of dreams.

~Behind A Thought~

The sound echoed as it lay still on free ride over air. My knuckles in white full clutch to the arms that stay on the chair. Heads full erect as my backs center lined with the wall a the room. Feet take my legs dug in toes hold the force, of adrenaline stream. Eyes paint the thought in the sit an the sight of the place that you are. Shiver in spine erupted the skin hair is on edge. A gasp an grasp as lungs are in flight midst heart pumpin red.

The Midnight Wraith Of My Dreamscape

The Midnight Wraith Of My Dreamscape

Dawn comes and the darkness fades
It's light trickles through the shades
Flesh to flesh time erodes way
To await the night when she comes to stay
Time to rise as I shudder and quake
I curse the dawn for now I'm awake

It's midnight and again I begin my wait
For the arrival of my nocturnal date
As she appears and I'm greatly relieved
And when she goes I'm left bereaved
Only in long flowing locks she's cloaked
So lovely and sexy that in sweat I'm soaked

Onto my bed she glides ready to be kissed
I was enchanted and powerless to resist
Knowing that soon comes that sweetest release
And only then shall my soul find it's peace
Hours passed but the passion still remains
Flesh to flesh hot blood coursing in our veins

Why? When I know you shall only cause me pain
She whispers “ Don't ask me what I can't explain.”
Farewell my love she sighed as again comes the dawn
“Not yet!” I plead, don't leave me love's lowly pawn
I must depart now and allow you to find some rest
“My heart's not mine, it's yours” comes my dire protest

She's silent, no response comes from her lips
I wait in silence watching her take her morning trips
Destiny stops a final embrace and wouldn't permit a kiss
For the dream ends so swiftly I'm left feeling the remiss
Again stolen my love has the dawn I violently cuss
And so each morning departs my lovely succubus

So quickly she vanishes that I abruptly awoke
Gathering the pieces of my shattered heart she broke
Left all alone with the memories of our times
So now you've heard my strange tale in my rhymes
And I spend another morning as a rain of tears escape
Aching and missing The Midnight Wraith of my Dreamscape

Saturday night Enterprise

Saturday here on the holodeck
Jiminy Cricket dances around
to keep baser instincts in check
theoretical ethical dilemmas abound.

The holodeck is like dream time
capable of desires and fantasies
events both horrifying and sublime
played out, life across the galaxies.

An actor on a stage of possibility
can play the part of hero or villain
dastardly or the epitome of civility
darker motifs behind curtain hidden.

Which, to be or not to be, selected
choose, and get into character to portray.
Is the actor the character, or unaffected
by the actions of the part that he plays?

Is it harmless release to play it "bad"
and too, is it no value to play the "good".
Was Hamlet's character really raving mad,
or the sheriff far worse than Robin Hood?

All the world's a stage, us merely players
might go beyond the cornered universe
to philosophers, hucksters, soothsayers
all who purport good to bad and obverse.

The doors to the holodeck close "shwoosh"
and our man by the door gives a nod
tonight's experience might be an ambush
or tomorrow's wizened connecting rod.

Life's lyrics still sing melodious tunes
for singers, actors, and audience to decide
Jiminy with umbrella and hat, so croons
"Always Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide."

Part-Two: My Battleship USS-Missouri 1945

1. I barely remember while I was walking on the second deck level,
the whole air down there was tons of floating glitter.
A lot of it had got on me, then I had noticed these tiny little bits
were charged with an extreme amount of magic.

2. The following night I had went to sleep in that USS-Missouri Battleship,
I vaguely remember going to the Alien-Portal room talking
to the portal, I had so many questions before I had hit the hay.
I said, what's all the glitter for?
Portal said, "we got lots of glitter from earth and we charged it
with an enormous amount of magic, not earth magic,
our magic.

3. This Alien Portal seem to already know what questions
I was going to ask before I had ask.
This second question I was to ask is: "what about me,
did you do anything with me the first day and night I
slept in this battleship?"

4. The Alien Portal said, "yes we did we had looked into your mind
while you were in a deep sleep,
and we saw you and your gospel sister on that earth, you were really happy
with her for encouraging you in important areas of your life
that concerned you."
I said ok, "what next did you do?"
"Our Alien commander and chief had given us orders
to clone you both."
I said, "why did you do that."
"Alien commander and chief had taken a liken to you both."

5. I said "ok please explain to me what you need with me
and sister both of us being cloned?"
The said, "Our Alien Commander and Chief saw into the both of you,
you both have talents and skills we desire for the two of you
to teach us everything you know."
I said, "ok, what are our cloned selves doing on your alien world
right now?"
"Our Alien Command and Chief gave your sister one of your new earth name's,
Queen Katniss, she preached her gospel to 10,000 thousand of our
alien people, and our crowd of people were just elated at her words, we borrowed her gospel and had made millions of copies of it."

6. I said "ok, what are you doing with my clone on your planet?"
"While your sister was preaching her earth gospel to us,
we had named your clone "Hoop-Loop."
I said, "why did you give me a name like that?"
They replied "because the first thing you had taught our people,
how to play basketball after you helped us showing us how
to build an earth gym to play this game in."
"You were always hooping that basketball Mr. Loop."
I said, "what next."
"Your clone we call Mr. Loop he's busy teaching us self-defense
and all the other earth sports from earth."
Then I said, "I'm really tired I'm going to bed now,
so I had left that Alien Portal room on this battleship."

7. Just 3-hours before morning I woke
and my entire body was Levitating, I looked around to see
if someone was lifting and holding me up in the air."
There was no-one, I had said to myself, "it must be that alien magical glitter
that I had come in contact with."
I had wondered "why me?"
Like this earth Savior on earth I didn't know,
these aliens could read my mind,
and I heard this Alien Commander and Chief said,
"Because we like you."
"So don't get scared accept the new thing we had just
given to you there on that USS-Missouri 1945 Battleship."
Alien portal said, "it's being reported to other light year alien races
what good the both of your clones are doing on our planet,
and so many different other alien-races are visiting our planet."

8. My sisters name on earth is Shinn Winn those Aliens
changed it to Queen Katniss.
My earth name was Captain Lock but those Aliens changed
my name to Hoop-Loop.
On Earth are names are still the same
but our clones bear these names "Queen Katniss and Hoop-Loop."
