Romance

Take me,
Hold me,
Embrace me ;
As you breath lingers on mine
Our bodies entwined,
Lets do this thing called; Romance

A love to find,
Why do I question?
Let time heal its wounds

Come take my hand, lets dance this sweet Romance;
Till the sun shineth with glee,
And the rain, spatters our cheeck.

A Romance To Remember

Tis day I first saw you,
I gazed upon your heavenly eyes.
they sparkled like diamonds within the night sky.

I took thine hand as if I already knew,
Fate hath brought us together, thus I had to pursue.

This love that I have given thee to share,
it be my ultimate gift, I give to my Lady fair.

doth mine passion ignite,
like a flame burning ever so bright.

You gave me a wink as if you wanted to dance.
I then made my move, the start of our romance.

I touched your face ever so soft.
as I walked you back to your loft.

The still of the night was sweet and pure.
We made love tenderly as now You were mine and I was now your's.

We courted for at least a year hath passed.
until thee wedding bells announced a love to everlast.

About this poem:
I am an Amateur Poet that probably in another life was famous for it. (So people online have told me) all my work comes from my heart and mind. It is original not plagerized. I basically just put the words together and they flow to me. I do mostly lyrical poems and song lyrics also. I'm a man full of creativity. Just waiting to share it with some special lady. :)

The Conversation

Let's have a conversation
I won't be shy today
For I am writing the words
So I know just what to say

My you do look so lovely
The moring sun has you face aglow
Pardon me miss I've said all this
And you have only said hello

There are tables outside the small café
Down by the sea, oh you say that sounds ok
So let's go there,it's just a stroll there
That's where this converstion should really be

Don't readers know they shouldn't pry
How much do they want to hear
This conversation is between you and I
And the sound of the waves so near

A Tribute to Hades and Persephone

A Tribute to Hades and Persephone

An enchanted arrow struck the cold heart
Of death’s King
Onyx eyes soften to grey
As he glance upwards
Not towards glorious Olympus, instead
At the sight of a warm Goddess

A mighty King, God, and One of three
Brought to his knees.
Lonely King whose name is feared
To be spoken
Judge, juror, prosecutor, and ruler
Of souls.
Death is his kingdom

Keeper of cold jewels, valueless
To spring
Giver of life misplaced among death.

A flower though the key that
Unlocked the ground
A flower brought life to death
His heart bled Crimson red
As the seeds, six, four, or three
Bonded spring below the ground
As dark as the living world above

Icy tears that have covered the lands
Cold grief blocked the sun
Trees dead and bare
When the leaves fell with the Goddess
And captured the last colors of Life.

The Dead’s King’s love
Eventually returned Spring, but
Near or far, even separated by a veil
They were still in love

Every year, leaves re-enacted
A Goddess’s first descent into Hades
The marker of Darkness and Lights reunion.
Maiden no more
A king alone no longer
The destroyer of light
Queen , wife, and companion she became.-

The Conversion Song

[previous poem removed]

When it’s minus 40 here it’s also minus 40 there
It is somewhat reassuring and so I begin to care
To care and think that there is hope
For between these differences to memorize and cope

When it’s minus 30 here it’s minus 22 over there
And still chilling at minus 20 tis now 4 minus over there
But strangely when I’m still in the belows at number 10
You leap way past the zero to 4 above + 10 ten (14)

Minus 5 here is when you’re at 23
When I’m merely at minus 2 it’s above 28 for you
At my minus 1 you hit 30 and then some
And my round zero is when you’re at unround 32
(by the way that’s freezing point)

It may not yet be spring but above zero starts to hint
at plus one things start to melt
when does that happen for you?
I know it’s above 30
It’s even above 32
Ok it’s 33
two decimals from 34
Plus two here is just over 35 for you

Binding Love!

Binding Love!
Toy not with love
Less the torment of it’s lacking
Tortures the nerves of maddening desires!

The wanting of binding, of being of two
What heaven thoughts that would be

But alas the binding shakes the realm of heaven doors
With it’s unknown consequences

For to hold one so, at pedestal height, would tip love’s scale asunder

Fragile is the thoughts of paradises and you
It’s too much to contemplate

Give a smile so that one can survive without you, to battle the torments of a lonely day!

If only one could joust before the Gods to win such a fair maidens favor to hold on high

Tis done, but alas you are still alone and where is she
Your lonely precious maiden

Are you there, do you too wish entangled hearts

Traffic not within the hearts of tears, unless you
Bring them joy

Loves fury does not abate, where art thou
Ember of fire’s desire

Be you waiting to be the binding fair lady!

Hidden Love!

Hidden Love!

How often do you glance at your hidden love
Walking by unknowingly

That sideway look, that hidden gaze

A hidden romance that one cannot share

For the bluish of deep feelings would proclaim

A hidden love of feelings that the world sees not the same

That certain look, that casual strut, that sway as their body walks

Oh! Is it the same with others, do they feel this way too!

If I were brave, I would tell you of my love

But you belong to another, Oh dam your lover!

For do not I have feelings of the heart to share

Cannot you feel the same way, I feel for you

For when you smile, my heart does radiate too

I want to caress and finger the softness of your hair

To hold hands and to say to the world, this is my love and I am theirs

But alas they have another, not me

Is it fair, I ask of thee

Oh to find a lover that would be just mine!

I no longer want a hidden lover, but to have a real true love of my very own

Maybe it could be you, smile at me and hopefully
As time goes by, we will see!

MY DESERT FLOWER

CAN THE HANDS OF TIME
TICK MY THOUGHTS TO YOU
CAN THE MORNING SUN
MY WISH TO YOU WHISPER
CAN THE SKIES TURN BLUE
THE HEAVENS BRING RAINS
OF YOUR CHARMING VOICE
THE PURE RADIANCE OF YOUR SMILE
MY SNOWY FACE IT MELTS
IN YOUR EYES I SEE
OASIS OF HOPE
FOR MY DESERT HEART
LONG FORLORN OF THIRST
CAN ONLY FORGET
MY FANGS OF PAIN AND SOULFUL GRIEF
TO SAY THE LEAST
THAT MY DESERT FLOWER TURNS.. EVERGREEN AGAIN

GOOBYE SORROW...

EROTIC VERSE, OF LOFTY HYMNS
YOU SCRIBED IN INK
PULSATING RED
THE RHYTHM TUGS AT MY HEART STRINGS
MY SORROWS GONE
WITH EVERY LINE
I DARE TO SING
I FELT YOUR SMILE
IN ACCENT CLEAR
AMIDST THE HUE OF COLOUR SMILES
LIKE TEETHING SMILES IN POCKETS DRIFT
IN DUE BORN CLOUDS ON ICYFLOSS
GOODBYE SORROW
NEVER IN LIFE, TO MEET AGAIN

TRUST AND SELF - ESTEEM

Trust, is the garnisher of prestige and ectasy.
Trust, is the ageless curator of self - esteem.
Work with the airs of trust over thy head;
Make it thy pillow; and
You will earn yourself, a timeless ardour of respect.
