Not a guy but I would wonder why the person would say "I love you" after so short a time and ask them if they have some co-dependency issues or other issues that they need to discuss....

I know what you're getting at....there is a difference from being "in love" with someone then "loving them". We all love someone just for the person they are but being in love with someone is a whole nuther ballgame. I think the OP meant, his new girlfriend thinks she is "in love" with him.

I think it depends on the timing and how they express this feeling of 'love'.. and that counts for men as well..

i actually had someone who did the exact same thing. to be honest it ruined it for me because i did like the woman but to say i love you so early, well we were enjoying each others company and having a laugh but i didnt have enough time with her to say i love you i just didnt know her enough. it made me feel bad because im not gona say something i dont mean.

Normally is say have reason to concern cause most people know if it is said after a week it isn't really meant, BUT I met my GF at random at a dance one night we got to talking and a week later things heated up REAL quick and we started saying it really soon and im big on that.. Yet it didn't bother me and we've been dating for almost 3 months now and still goin strong in fact getting more serious. So i believe personally its how you take it. She could in fact mean it and Love could be there you just never know its just how you fell about it that matters.
