The scenery, nice clean cities, good atmosphere in the bars and clubs and the best Guinness in the world. And our history as well which makes for interesting reading.

dvx_76: Well the weather in my country in Malta is great, but we have one of the richest histories in the world..we have the oldest free standing buildings in the world..and even oldest underground habitations.

All the countries on here sound so nice, wouldn't it be nice to do house swopsies for a couple of weeks so we can discover each others country beauties,
I love my country, The Philippines. I love the people, how we strive, the beaches, the food, the music...... I love All my country could offer, good or bad. Proud to be a Pinay.
i've been to greece. Ok you have a very rich history. Well if you read well (and please read everything I wrote), I said we have ONE (sorry for the caps but you skipped that part) and not the richest. Well do you have pre-history in Greece No. Ok you have the culture of Athens & Sparta. But just for your knowledge...Pre-historic temples..Punic Monuments..Roman Villas...Arab Buildings..Normans Buildings..The great siege...Valletta as a whole capital city...the only painting which is signed by the carravagio (Unesco said it's unpricable)..Napoleon actually stole things from here (you can see them at the Louvre )...we were the most bombarded country in second world war due to our strategic position ....and lot's more. Ah sorry.. just to remember that the Cold War ended during the summit between Bush sr and Gorbachov here in Malta.

Konigsberg: Oh Spirits! That's why I like Englishmen! Your sense of humour!
By the way... Invented the dog? The Hound of the Baskervilles? RDM Do not send me to eat my popcorn, NOT YET! I want to read the answer first .... then I'll go willingly
I think it's a bit of a mystery where the word dog came from.
Up until quite recently they were always referred to as hounds...
Wow! My country America is so large and different in every little nook and cranny I couldn't say what I like best, but for California..wait even California is so large that it's hard to say. I would normally say I love the weather, but it's decided to rain right now...I love the summers here, I love how beautiful a lot of California is, the northern part has gorgeous beaches, we have the vineyards in Napa and Sonoma County, the largest trees in the world are here: the Redwoods and giant Sequoias. San Francisco is a beautiful city...just so much, we have snow covered mountains, nice deserts, beaches, and the farm lands...all wrapped up in one state! There is too much to list! California in my opinion is a very beautiful state and there is a lot to love about it!!
Canada has a great diversity of people and cultures..here in Ontario I enjoy the different cultures and yes NO MATTER where you live there will always be some type of negative but you have to look past that...As for Mr.Negative feel bad he cant see the simple and bright aspects of life..
