Nope, I don't believe in god and since it's humans messing the place up, humans should start carrying responsibility and make amends. Like that's ever going to happen
Which god? I do not think that any of the gods take much of an interest in the affairs of men and women, hence the crap that goes on in the world. That is if any of the gods exist, of course.
My brain cannot make sense of such a thing as God, but my heart feels otherwise. Countless times I have asked God for strength, for guidance. Those prayers sustained me through my most troubled times. I had an uncle that was in his last days of cancer. Physically he was left completely unrecognizable. I asked a friend, "How could God allow this to happen?" He answered, "God did not make this happen..humans did. We were insistent on keeping him alive even when it was obvious that it was time for him to leave his earthly body. That answer has helped me realize that we are the ones that cause so much of what we want to blame on God. We have free will. We are responsible for any justice.

not even the slightest chance of there being a one god, is a no brainer

You are right. God is not about the brain...it is about belief and faith. Of course, just look at this wondrous amazing world and the life on it. Every single atom, flower, animal, human body, blade of grass...is so perfectly made....how can there not be a higher being behind it? Science cannot explain ALL this...there is just too much beauty...jmo.
God's supreme justice is coming upon the earth. That is a promise from Him stated clearly in the Scriptures. The only reason that he hasn't executed it yet is because he desires ALL to attain to repentance so that none will be destroyed. I have been studying the Scriptures for 28 years and most of the prophecies have come to pass. Soon the one concerning Armageddon will take place. The real questions are: Will Christ really find the faith on the earth? Will we be ready when that day comes?

I like this one.
No one has made sense of god with their brain, because god is not of the brain. The trouble comes when people start to think otherwise. The word in itself is of the brain, and obviously, a word is not God. A thought or idea isn't God. They might as well have called it kitchen knife (if the words wasn't taken), and so, all the descriptions become dishonest before they fail. It is a cheap shot to appeal to "god" also to induce the masses for purpose. And those who think thought contains everything, will never "see" God.
The heart on the other hand appeals to what is induced by "God". That's what I've been able to get from the books of god, not any particular religious ideal or ideology. Although heart, in a way, is ideology. Also, that god is just, we get exactly what we deserve here in life (accidents caused by others not included :p).
