The rainforest is cut down rapidly to breed cows for meat consumption. Cow farts produce an amazing amount of methane gas which is a main factor in global warming.

I actually am against cutting down the rain forest. But it is not my country so I don't think anyone really cares about my opinion. I don't eat alot of meat. Mostly chicken and seafood. I will every couple of months eat some red meat. But mostly it is chicken, fish and fresh veggies.
Sure I will! Because I like meat I am not able to be a vegetarian unfortunately, but I decided years ago to eat meat just once a week. My decision was influenced by many factors and one of them was... save environment, save Planet. I feel great by the way but be honest, I am always looking forward to nice medium steak yummmi

I am a vegetarian, almost a raw vegan. I don't eat meat at all but this has nothing to do with saving the environment. It has to do with maintaining my own good health. I never liked meat anyway, I was raised on fish.

Hi even if people cut down on meat, its a win-win.Too much meat is a heart attack waiting to happen, not to mention the huge amount of chemicals that is on meat

Yes, yes, yes. Thank you. I don't eat any meat at all. I am very healthy, no cholestral problems, never had.

yea I eat meat , and lots of it . By your measure eating meat is good , as dead cattle don't emit anything . I don't know if the earth is warming or not , but what I do know is what I see . Last winter here there was snow to sea level in places not seen for many years . The ice has not melted in the Ross sea this year , North Pole ozone hole is much bigger because of a hard winter 20010/11 . Who would say the current winter was mild in europe . As for rising sea leavels , its no higher on the bridge piles at Akitio . Half of the eastern Aussie seaboard is under water this year . How much do you need to see to see whats going on ?

The issue of cars and the oil industry is a different discussion. I think we should all be driving on hydrogen by now. The lobby of the oil industry needs to be broken first, unfortunately.
carbon dioxide is good for plants and trees they do grow faster on it so cows fart,,,, so what,,, think of the billions and billions of animals who all farted that have been killed over the last few hundred years, cow farts ,,, make meat cheaper and we can eat them all

Yep,Hydrogen, the Hyper-Safe Fuel! Not that simple to adapt Hydrogen safely to use as Fuel!

Wait a minute! If cow farts produce methane, why can't we just catch the methane and use it? Like in Mad Max. WHO CONTROLS BARTER TOWN?
