I'm new to forum participation and find it quite fascinating and terribly addictive. I have noticed that there are folks who spoil threads by conducting private conversations and they do it to multiple threads. I'm wondering what the majority of folks expect to put in and get out of forums. If most fall within categories 1 to 7, then maybe together we can squeeze out these ignorant pratts.

I'm addicted, i like to see how the rest of the world lives. And i have a good old chuckle sometimes.
Actually I am sick a lot and have to stay in a dark room when I am sick, so can come on here sometimes and interact with some wonderful people. I also live in a very tiny town, so it's hard to meet people...this is fun to chat here in the open forums....

A wee bit of everything listed in your poll makes the forums a good place to be...diversity in people and conversation is a good thing.

By participating on the forums I've been able to meet some of the best, most loyal friends I've ever had. I also find it a fun pass time. I really enjoy it.
marss: She speak the TRUTH...all for getting rid of anitalouise raise your hands...sheesh i can't count that high....
Although I don't agree with her notion of "getting rid of these ignorant pratts", mainly because I'm likely one of them ( ), I don't see any need to chase her off either.
The forums have been dying since CS introduced the new layout, and I know of many people that just don;t have any interest in participating anymore. I preferred the old layout myself, but have stuck it out, got used to it, but still find it annoying. We can't afford to run people off, or there will be nobody here, other than the fanatics in the political and religious threads, argueing about who's right and who's left.
