I don't know how it is in Florida but here in Ohio every employee is an 'At Will Employee' regardless of how good of a employee you may think you are.

What can I say? Minie Mouse is on the game and hooked on crystal meth in New Orleans. Mickey Mouse died a hopeless alcoholic and Donald Duck was jailed for interfering with a minor....a minor bird, that is.

I still think that Donald Duck was innocent on the charges.
His alibie about being with Daffy at the strip bar seemed legit to me. some have called this the most contravercial conspiraty of all time.Not me though.I pick the death of so many Amrican musicians in the 70-80 period.

sagap0: I was in the Disney College Program, and staying in College Program housing. Disney fired my two roommates and I, because one of those two roommates was misbehaving. I wasn't doing anything wrong, I was just there.
I've noticed that some people believe me when I tell them that. Other people think the company can do no wrong, and will never believe that's true. I'm not the only one with a story like that, but people still don't believe it. I want to know how many people on this website are open to hearing the truth about them.

nothing is ever as it seems, my friend. Employers make promises all the time and are never held to them. I researched your "college program" and found a mixed bag of commentary from students/workers. Some liked it a lot, some found it benign, some thought it was terrible. Depends on who you are, what you bring to the table, where they place you, what your motives are. Seems like they wanted to cater to students who showed an upwardly mobile personality and wished to work for Disney in administration. There's always free cheese in a mousetrap. (pun, pun.....)

Disney is known for killing off characters that cause the children who read these stories to cry. I saw The Lion King on Broadway and even I was upset when Scar killed Mufasa the current King. Mufasa's son Simba learned what Scar did and took the matter into his own paws. Now Simba is the Lion King and I'm very happy
