ynotleon69: i actually have had to do this for 3 months till we got our own place... that was an awsome 7 year relationship.

If you really love someone distance isn't a problem. For instance my kids live 1300 km away from me and i drive to see them every 5 weeks. thumbs up

He was 4.5 hours away and I made the trip every other weekend to Virginia. I was stupid cause after six years it was a waste of time, gas and tolls.

I'm used to traveling and love doing it so traveling 3 hours to see someone I truly loved and cared about would be nothing to me.

I've driven clear across the US to the East and back West again more then once.

three hours isn't too bad, but I would expect the commute to be shared - every other tme, equally. Or maybe sometmies meeting halfway at a nice spot
