Dadude62: Illegals here in the US that came here to work
thanks, I remember the question....this thread is escalating pretty rapid. Ok, you asked me, "What choices do these people, living under conditions of poverty, have ?" I guess if you meant in their country, and there are many Countries as you know, I think that is for that country and people to work out. I know that might sound callous but This Country is not able, or has decided not to take care of their own people problem. When this Country, USA, ignores the huge effect of allowing Illegal aliens to migrate here and build families I think it is just unfair to the lower class citizen, the people that had to work to get here legally, and others that I am not thinking of. I do think that even if they do get something from coming here that they are still exploited and that is probably so the very rich can get certain things for very little, it also keeps certain groups of people under a certain control, or maybe even fear. But in the "scheme" of things it will probably backfire and then everything gets pretty scary. the divided get unhappy and want what the other has and it very well could lead into a conflict that is much more than we see today. I Think it needs to start at home. And if someone comes here legally then that is fair. But I can not visit these places without the right papers and neither should those that come here. That's all I got for now.
abcWOMAN: Freedom of speech comes with behaving with good manner and not insulting people.
Have another drink sir!
If you realized what you have written, you should already know about your freedom speech that comes with behaving with good manner and not insulting me. As you know, you do not even have good manner and you insulted me when you do not agree with my view instead of giving me my freedom of speech. No, I do not drink, so drink yourself. Take care.

CapNemo: Illegal immigrants shouldn't be issued a damn thing except a one way ticket back.
A bus ticket to mexico, probably a couple (2 or more) hundred bucks, times 12,000,000 = $2,400,000,000. Not to mention all kinds of other economic costs,,, Yep that's a good solution alright ,,,
Yes, because immigrants had this land before you did! We have a grid and the people that lived on this land before the owners now were native to the land of America.

You're right. Charge their government for these services. Or just shoot them.

Or maybe you could offer them the right to pay taxes? Not all immigrants are criminals and its not like your country doesn't NEED the money, but then that would mean the rich would have to own up to employing them wouldn't it? So forget that idea!
Iuchi_Zien: They are when immigrants can be paid a pittance. After all why employ some spotty youth for £5.00 an hour when you can employ two desperate illigals for the same amount, and better still because they are illegal they will put up with conditions of work your spotty youth would report immediately to health and safety. Why do you think immigrants come here? or have you not thought that far ahead? Do you think they come hereon the off chance they may find a job? They know that there will always be unscrupulous employers who will hire them and even at the pitiful wages offered they can still send money home. You want to stop economic migration? Hit the employers. Make them pay taxes PROPERLY, if they employ illegal workers put them in prison, take their business off them, STOP making it financially profitable.
Crap, kids today work harder than your generation ever did. A day in a British factory is like something not seen in decades, we don't spend hours at a time m**turbating in the toilets or out striking like our parents did. And it's true that many middle class kids do nonsense degrees, but the sham economy that facilitates nonsense degrees is failing, which means these graduates are unemployed whereas polytechnic graduates from your era largely found work in some non-productive, debt-creating "enterprise" or other.
But true about employers, the answer is to hit them hard, but also to build relations with the immigrants accept, expand the circle of trust and show that we hold no animosity towards them, so that they will grass out the illegals.
Obstinance_Works: I've nothing against being generalised, as I've nothing against being objective. But I won't accept accusations of laziness amongst the younger generation from an even lazier older generation that, unlike the young, was raised by a generation worthy of respect - those that won the war and rebuilt afterwards.
And training foreign students to be next generation of brilliant scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs does not make Britain wealthier. This makes Chinese, Korean, Japanese companies stronger and thus annihilates British companies ability to compete. No, selling off our technological edge(just like our means of production)is just a quick, easy means of making money that it impacts upon every subsequent British generation. A way for older people to enjoy standards of living they never worked for.
And I made a point of adding 'Nationality: British' to my CV.. possibly because I'm an engineer and productive(non-Leftoid)industries have a preference for British workers - many in my field vote UKIP - so, it's not that they necessarily prefer immigrants.
The biggest complaint from employers about British youth is what their Leftoid teachers are teaching them. And how Liberal/modern education is delivering a whole generation of kids with useless skills.
