I think you should stop only when people stop voting/participating.
The way I see it is if people don't like your polls and the fact that you don't respond, then why don't THEY post topics for others to interact in. At least you're trying to provide topics for entertainment. Some people are creative enough to come up with topic ideas, where other's are not, or prefer not to, and other's enjoy debating, while others do not. I don't see why it's such an issue that you don't respond if you're giving people something to vote on and discuss.

I dont agree, theres a surprise lol. IMO its bad manners to start a topic and not contribute to it, like turning your back on someone during a conversation.

Ok, I disagree with you, but I respect your opinion but if he stopped creating polls/threads and so did all the other people who provide us with entertainment, where would the forums go? Right to the gutter because we cant depend on the people who DON'T provide polls/topics.

No, I think a lot of your polls have been good and have stimulated discussion whether you participate, or not.
Certainly, the international forums have been a bit slack recently and without your polls would have been a lot slacker.
The only frustration I have is if clarification is needed to get the discussion going, as in the vegetarian poll. I think that could have been a much better discussion for making your question clearer.
Frankly, I enjoy your polls. Your question is like asking, "Am I wasting my time collecting stamps or scrap-booking." If it makes you happy, then you should do it. You don't need to justify what you enjoy doing.

That's a question only you can answer. What the rest of CS population thinks of it is not really relevant. You fill in for yourself how to use CS. If you get something positive out of it, your on the right track. You are not offensive. Off you go, make some more. Yes, at times highly irritating when asked for some clarification or your own opinion and none is forthcoming. Adding your own opinion does not alter the outcome. You like to throw from the sideline some bones at the dogs and see what happens. Pointing out which one you like will not change the rest of us.
Glatlol: But he is not providing entertainment IMO
Are you sure? The big floppy ears thing?
Glatlol: oh fek Almost suffocating with laughter here.
