And, WHY, exactly should I give a duppy what anyone else is buying? I mayt as well go out & watch the grass grow if my life is so boring that other people's purchases interest me in the least!

Ccincy: How am I a food bigot just because I don't like process food? I have a bad habit of liking to know what's in my food when I'm about to eat it.I wonder how our ancestors managed without process food and had to grow their own etc.
Yes I'm the same and try my best to avoid processed food though it can be difficult at times.
As for the OP, yes I usually do cast an eye over other shopping baskets, mainly out of boredom with standing in a queue for ages waiting my turn while the cashier changes till rolls, shoppers run off to pick up something they forgot or forgot to get weighed, a price needs to be checked etc etc....
The food I put on the conveyor belt is lots of veggies, fruit, no salt, and low fat meats and fish.
When the person in front of me has all kinds of chips, ice cream, candy, donuts, cake, frozen dinners and lots of red meat, their shopping list usually matches what their body looks like.
I was stood behind a girl(a solid 8)only the other day with a bottle of economy vodka, a bag of brown rice and a packet of Pop Tarts in her shop to which I said "that's a car crash of a shopping basket" which in the end scored me some digits. The only downside is that I'll have to cook.

u mean cavemen? yea they did not eat processed food and life expectancy for stone age people was 25. modern humans eating processed food have a life expectancy of 35. which is better? hmmmm?

You're being silly now and I wasn't referring to cavemen.

I thought it was an excellent way to meet a guy, too, but when I told the stud in front of me he had great nuts and a nice big banana he got all embarrassed--I don't get it....I was just trying to be friendly and all....He did watch me for awhile, and even smiled.
