As his adviser I'll have to check and see if that's in his agenda.

truheart1941: .... no wonder your country,s in a state.........
There is such a thing as sovereignty, however, when a group within a country is committing crimes against humanity and acts of genocide against fellow countrymen and women, such as what happened in Rwanda, then united intervention should be considered. Problem arises when intervention is undertaken for other less altruistic motives, such as gaining control of oil production, political power or even to gain votes in your own country....
Kaybee50: First, I do not want US to intervene. There is no good outcome for this situation, regardless of what decision is made.
Chris, I wish to ask you, and I would like a straight answer please...
If hundreds of people were killed by chemicals tomorrow in your village by whomever: 1) What would you do? 2) What would you expect the international community to do?
Sounds like it was the motives of GWB intervening in Irag.Poison gas by Saddam, against Iranian troops,it wasn't considered violation of International Law,but it was against the Kurds, inside his own country.

Kaybee50: And would you want to do this alone? No foreign help?
Somebody has to catch him/her,Milosevits was caught and handed over to the International Court of Justice. They didn't issue a warant for the arrest of Saddam, having proof using chemicals against the Iranians, but they were quick to accuse him using them against his own minority, the Kurds.Double standards??????

I'm asking this from a personal perspective. If this happened in your very own village, would you want the guilty party to be caught by you yourself, and want the international community to stay out?
