OutsideofBali: You're too much! In a good way and for my shake put that instrument away, you know I'm a total fool for a guitar player.

I feel you're inbox must be filling up today and over the coming days or else - which woman wouldn't love to hear such things!

well, you are very kind as always. Too bad I am not there local, I would invite you to hear some Guitar playing. My inbox seems to only get the occasional invitation of some contrived profile made for seeking emails or something of that sort, nothing I would wish on anyone here. LOL. Thank You once again and as always so nice to get some sweet words from a lovely individual that is so very interesting and full of energy. Switzerland is a great place to be, I was there quite some time ago but remember it well. I felt very welcome during my stay. I remember a park in one city where they had very large Chess pieces and a very relaxed pulse that circulated in the people I came in contact with.

I had forgotten about joining this site and hardly ever logged in when I first joined. Met someone from another site and we were seeing each other for about 3 mths when I got a message from a guy on this site doh

He lived in Oz but not in same state, nah, no way we gonna meet - but we did and had a wonderful couple of years but the distance and other stuff got in the way blues

So I am determined to meet someone local but ..... it ain't happened yet? wave

This site is full of scammers, all my contacts here turned out to be scams, they use good looking photos, so you are attracted, then bombard you with words of love until you get hooked then in for the scam. sorry don't have much faith in finding a real date here? good luck to the few who find a good one. xteddybear

Not old or ugly, this is not the best site for a date, lots of scams, so be careful. the forums are interesting, but for a date? No No. Good luck! xteddybear

Is a "Meet & Greet" considered a date?

We all seem to agree that the international distances are an over-riding factor in meeting with fellow CSers.
After chatting with a "neighbor" (same country & state), and exchanging phone #'s (same prefixes), and a few phone conversations over the winter - we decided that a meet and greet was a nice idea.

It was a wonderful night out. He was a charming gentleman and I enjoyed the evening with him and his friends: a few beers and a couple of games of pool; a light dinner filled with easy conversation. We didn't solve the world's problems - but we certainly had lots of fun discussing them. wine

I guess it depends on what you're looking for Reb.
There's nothing wrong with friendship, even if they're older/younger or single/married.

As John Lennon said:
“Count your age by friends, not years.
Count your life by smiles, not tears.”

Dream007: Average time it took you to get a date.

Haven't had one in here. I think it's virtually impossible. Just luck if it happens.
