Chemistry, is an energy, its either there or its not..like a Magnet pulling you towards someone, wheather you close or far away, energy can travel miles..if you feel the pull, you gotta travel towards it

Rogerzoekt: After one experience where after long writing and chatting i thought we figured it all out, the minute we saw each other in real life there was no chemistry at all.
This happened to me on a rather domestic date, but imagine this happens on a date where you flew across half the globe.
Isn't it strange that we humans do not seem to need any type of technologically based apparatus to tell us if someone we meet may be a biological hazard to us, but we seem to be in desperate need for some sort of 'meter' device to tell us if there is a mutual attraction to each other, baring the ability to detect any questionable motive. If such a device could be invented it could be quite useful in the inertial quest of a mate. (not to be confused with the old TV program, The Dating Game, in which on the first show, an announcer told audiences around the country to "stay tuned or the new Dating Game show on which young people come to mate...."oh well, back to the 'drawing boards' for such a device...

I believe if both people are honest open minded the chemistry will produce itself if there is any. Sometimes it may take a couple of dates to find out or until there is a level of comfort for each person. Someone may be very nervous on first dates and it could be mistaken for disinterest or something else. But at the end of the day who really knows.

common sense 100% even more than a couple of dates...
not only a couple of dates (then jump to bed too early) to get to know someone...otherwise, the other part will shrink and do a runner...
