I like the Brits. I've got more in common with them than their American counterparts.

I like English men.

They are generally polite and nice.

The northern English men would be closer to Irish people than Southern English.

Although they try, most Southern English just don't 'get' Irish people and their sense of humour. They would be a little reserved and polite compared to uslaugh

Having said that, 2 of my favourite people since I joined CS have been Brits grin heart beating

To be honest I think English and Irish much the same just different accent.

Can't really generalise,

Yes I do think in certain parts of England down south people in general are more reserved but if you won't find that in people from the east end of London,.lol.

In general I think English men like the Irish accent in a woman and Irish men like the English accent in a woman,

Its the difference that holds more of an attraction,

I do like the Irish accent in a lady ... but then again I like the Scottish and Welsh too. It is not the accent by itself that is the attraction, but also an extensive vocabulary.

They can be a very mixed bag, but I give them generally a thumbs up. My ex is one! I also work with a few of them. Generally we get along great.

In response to: Just wondering what the general opinion is on these specimens.
