I think the rules about Blue for a boy and Pink for a girl has largely gone out the window [so to speak] as has giving Boys Guns and Girls Dolls for Christmas.
It totally depends on the Colouring of the man, and build. I went out with a very Macho man, he was in the Rag Trade so he dealt with materials and fashion. He used wear a pink Jacket, he had darkish skin [although Irish] and very dark hair, it really suited him.
I think its not every man who is male enough to Wear pink.
I love Black .. Which my Grandma used say to me was only for 'Widows' but I love black, its forgiving, you dont have to worry what to wear and you brighten it up with accessories and lipstick, its a gorgeous colour.. if it suits. Rules are made to be broken.
I do love Blue on a man who has blue eyes, and I do have a penchant for navy or dark grey Business suits... thats a turn on for me too.
Artists tend to wear a patchwork of colours .. and get away with it. Anyway tiz whats inside that matters, personality and compatibility

I learned to stand up for myself in the last number of years. Not sure if that is a good thing that I have to or learned to have to.

That is the reaction I got as well. Not just when I got married but other times. There was one gal that was really put off by it but she really was not interested in me anyway...come to think about it I wonder why she even raised an eyebrow about that shirt.. LOL. Oh well. I rarely have others tell me what I should wear. I figure I should be able to figure that one out.
