It is sensible to rule out far left and far right media sources, go for international sources that don't have any hidden agenda.
Al-Jazeera English, (not American) is often very good with international stories, the American version is based in the USA and can give bias in reports.
Reuters is another that usually can give balanced reporting, although there have been occasions when they have been misleading or biased, not sure which.
Best is to look at as many sources as possible and somewhere in the middle is closest to the truth.
