I see a lot of native speakers make stupid mistakes and may be they are not stupid mistakes because they repeat them all the time...
The Slavic languages (for example) are considered some of the most difficult to learn because of their complicated grammar... And I am glad when my foreign friends are trying, but will never expect them to be perfect, I just try to understand and encourage...

Depend with who are we speaking to !!!! Aussies that prefers slang language over fluent proper English language are disasterous as teachers.
