Conrad73: Came across this somewhere. Nope, don't let anyone tell you that is a sign of Weakness for a Man to cry. I don't make it a Rule to bawl in public, but that does not mean I do not shed tears;and not all the reasons are the same.
Here are some Quotes I found:
“There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness,"
“Tears are words the heart can't express” ...
“Tears are the safety valve of the heart when too much pressure is laid on it.”
“Perhaps our eyes need to be washed by our tears once in a while, so that we can see Life with a clearer view again.”
“Tears are the silent language of grief”
“Laughter and tears are meant to turn the wheels of the same machinery of sensibility; one is wind-power, and the other water-power; that is all”
“So hold her closer when she cries, hold her closer when she feels. She needs a hand to hold, someone who will never let her go again. And hold him closer when he tries to hold the tears back from his eyes. Don't say goodbye.” Song: Hold Her Closer
“Things have different qualities, and the soul different inclinations; for nothing is simple which is presented to the soul, and the soul never presents itself simply to any object. Hence it comes that we weep and laugh at the same thing.”
I do once in awhile when things are quiet, I'm tired, alone and thought turns to things in the past that might have made my life different had they been different. Some decisions I made, some actions of others and then, sometimes when a movie moves me or, I see inhumanity occuring without reason against the defenseless. Generally though, it passes quickly and, certainly the entire mood vanishes with some sleep so, I guess it's predominently when I'm tired and or frustrated.
This is real, men do cry.Sometimes more than women. But why do men cry, what should make a man drop tears even sometimes on his knees. The answer is just simple, breaking his vault.

Mystiflower: Men Do Cry????????....yes..but mostly they will try to hide their tears too...
Actually, i've never been ashamed of tears. In fact, i often cry if touched by something in a movie. I'm just made that way and i don't mind admitting it to the whole world !

Yes they can and that means myself included.(don't tell any-one I said that) Sometimes they will try and disguise the fact. But crying is a natural emotion and we all do it.

Yes they cry...I find a man who can show his emotions a strength and not a weakness...it takes a real man to be able to show how they really feel at the time rather than to hold them all in and let them turn to anger and have them come out in unhealthy ways instead....

Don't think it has to do with Gender!
