Big_John: What do you want to know?

I didn't write it correctly. You said tell them your not interested quickly and my reply should have been worded as:

NOW you tell me with the emphasis on NOW

It was just a joke.

I would be honest from the get go...

no need to drag someone's feelings or heart thru the mud...

honestly IS the best policy....

but I would never say anything in malice....just truthfully tell them I am not interested

Cheers

I chose honesty as it's the best policy i have met three people and we have both had a laugh just because you meet someone and they're not your type or choice of a long term partner doesn't mean you cant be friends and have a laugh if friends is all you end up with it was/is a success if you run away the persons self esteem will go down and if you lie you will get found out in the end because you will stop messaging them there was a song called "you've got to be cruel to be kind in the right measure"that doesn't mean rude the person must be half right and said some good things to be interested in meeting them in the first place another good saying is
"Don't judge a book by it's cover"
So my advice is meet somewhere safe and be honest with each other treat people how you would wish to be treatedlove kiss

Be honest, and nice about it. There's no point lying to someone. I respect the truth and would hope others do to!

catchastar2: I didn't vote because I do belive it should be honest, but I also believe you should be nice about it too. And it will only let me pick just one.

That's nicely honest to say you had two picks...

Me too.

littlemate1: Hi some votes are in and I was very surprised at the results

It was THE MEN who said that it was better to be honest, most were over 40! Wow, keep voting

I voted 'Honest' also.

Having said that, we also need to be able to accept honesty from the other person. Not easy, I know.dunno

It's always better to be honest...People are not attracted to everyone obviously and it hurts the person more to prolong the inevitable because someone is too uncomfortable to be honest...thumbs up

Shoulder check......

Change lanes........

Choose exit ramp......

Kick down accelerator......

I think that's numbers 4 and 5 ?

All in all I think people really want to be honest and want the other person to be honest. I guess the fine line between honesty and respect is where everyone needs to consider. Sometimes we lose in love doesnt mean it is our fault. I guess there are two ways to look at it; I am still alone or I am free to find the real love of my life.

I guess the option I could have added was "respectful honesty"

So there you go

Thanks for voting
