I dont enjoy going to pubs now,as ive got older i prefer to be a bit of a homebird, folks up here only want to get totally drunk and i dont,meeting guys in pubs here is a definite no..

I go to a private club, but same thing really. And I voted other, 'cuz it's just a good place for me to get out and socialize, and have a few laughs with my friends. And I don't drink any more, so it's not a place for me to get smashed.

I never got into bars because they reeked of smoke or were full of piss drunk guys. Ooh, baby, there's nothing like a smelly drunk who can't hold a conversation. Besides; beer goggles.

I only go to pubs wen its our own party n grp of friends n dearest ones...I neva go to a pub full of strangers...pub is a place where u come across diff kinda ppl...I dont like to mingle with new ppl so soon..

I only go with friends and that is not often at all since they mainly live far away from me. It is fun watching them get plastered though. I do not drink, so I become designated driver everytime we go. But that is ok...they are alot of fun to be with.

Bars/pubs can be a great place if you go to the right one. Leave your attitude at the door. Chat to everyone and have a great night. Finish it off with a sing song. Happy out.

With the right people a pub can be fun. I'm not much of a drinker and I personally don't consider a bar to be an ideal place to meet new people.
That having been said, a pub can be a fun place for a date. Challenge him to a game of 'stripes and solids' or a round of darts.

A lot has changed the past 20 years in Amsterdam but its still a great place to do pubrounds.Once every month or so I make a round along my favorite bars and pubs and meet up with old friends and new.

that's why i don't go to them-unless it's in the daytime and you have nice normal sober people!!!

i love heading down to the pub after a hard week of work, id take easy conversation over screaming into each others ear at a club. The band starts around 9.30- by this time everyone gets tipsy then strangers become friends as we all sing cover songs as loud as we can.
