It was good dramatic writing not all books have a happy ending.

ARE religious and they are NEVER finding out I'm an atheist. I don't want to deal with their disappointment. lol

And also I'd like my parents to die in peace. In other words, for them to feel secure in the fact that I'm not a "God-less heathen" lmao

I liked it. Flowed good and just depicts and confirms how Atheism is on the rise in America and around the world.

Interesting. Many Christians feel that if we don't accept Jesus as our saviors, then we agnostics/atheists/ and other religious people will never be happy. I had a discussion the other day with a devout Christian about this. He was so convinced that Atheists can not be happy, balanced, moral, and intellectually fulfilled.roll eyes

I did notice this in your poem:

"You smile is fake, your faith is brainwashed
Leaving you empty inside."

I would not conclude that they are empty with fake smiles, many Xtians are truly happy because they believe so...who are we to take that away from them?
A lot of Christians say the same thing about us, how we are empty with fake and fading smiles. We should just worry about ourselves and not try and determine how happy or not happy others are...even if their beliefs is based on blind faith.

I should hope that one day you will tell your parents your beliefs...nobody likes to live lie. In any case, you should be proud, not apologetic, because atheism is evidence of a healthy, independent mind.wine
