The house health care plan is going to put some 54 new government agencies into HHS to approve those tests, surgeries and procedures.
This will force the Drs to spend a lot of time....just getting approval. They want to treat patients, not make phone calls and fill out pages of documents. Documents that later can and will be used in a medical liability court cases against them. Documents filed with the government here....become public information.
So without tort reform....American Dr are seeing more liability coming. Understand now why 45% are going to resign or retire?

No body is going to remove retirenment money of the docs and so on who are working in the current system TT. The private sector can keep being there and there will just be a cheap and aviable system where all people can use and I am absoloutely sure you are not right a bout this assumption and actually a universal helaht care plan is going to give much better retirenment plan for the personal because private sector is some how not much controlled by the officials and controlled by the current insurence companies them selves and they can all of sudden cutting retirenment money and so on from the personal but a government runned health care will as usual act much more propper.Most are in thier 40-50-60 in age. You obvious don't understand capitalism. The Drs over the year have invested into thier own retirement packages...401s,MMAs, etc....now under the Obama health care plan it will be easier to win major mal practice lawsuits against them.

Obama have been travelling to many places and have been holding fabulous speaches calling for communication and negotiation and his wise words have made millions of human beigns from several countries to see a true strength in this man and a deep wish to stop the difficulties or at least hoping for the same in the near feauter.
Hard to solve conflicts are still not over and the problems between Israel and palestinians are still existing but still there are no major battles in the area no more and even Obama is not the best cup of tea for the ultra right winged government of Israel, but still concidering the fact about Isreals very existens is based on the economical and military help of the United States then the Israeli government will have to ”listen” to America and behind the sceans there are really many negotiations going on and I am more than sure that those negotiations are going to lead to a possible real peace in that very important area sooner than any pessimistic and ever negative people can imagine.
Syria is silent and have chosed to stop making trouble for a while and there are rumors a bout a serious need for Syrian government becoming an acceptable member of the world sociaty and by that being able to stop their huge economical problems and being able to make money on tourists who can come there and seeing their great historical places once a gain is the main engine in the peacefull direction.
Iran… well a very very hard place and people there are battling hard to be able to sense the freedom after too many years with monsters on power and I am more than sure that this regim will leave soon because winds of change have even ritched that hard place and iranians have heard it clearly and want to be free and then no body can stop them again!
I am more than sure that during Obama administration the monster regim in Iran will be history exactly as Apartheid was history during Clinton years even almost no body beleived it could ever happen back then.

I have been thinking about this Afghan boy's trauma injury and treatment a little more. Note how after the SOF medics made the head trauma diagonist and then made ONE radio message to their commanding officer.... helo medivac, hospital operating room, med testing and a team of surgeons was put into motion to get the boy's treatment done?
In other words, they used the USARMY's well established medical treatment procedures to quickly move the boy to a med facility for further diagonis, tests and eventually the surgery that saved his life. Because already gone 4-5 days without surgery in the next 24 hours this boy was nearing death.
The United States medical system has adapted many fine features of our military medical care. Over time, our military going thru many wars has learned trauma injury care to have a high rate success in treating injured. The US military advanced medivac, tria , single line communication for trauma patient. All these have been adapted into the United States medical system of today.
So under Obama care....let us take a remote trauma injury like Afghan boys head injury....and see what happens. Let us say father and son go for a fishing trip in remote upper Idaho. they now have all the test results and a discussion begin to operate or to do a serise drill holes to relieve the boy's brain pressure...but it does not really matter for either procedure to be approves.....they need HHS agency approval.....unsure they request both and send the test results to Washington for thier consultation.....18.......19......20.....the approval for drilled holes arrives......they again meet to discuss using this technique of care....some want it and others say the surgery is needed.....
21......22......23.....the approval for head surgery arrives....at hour 24. They make their decision to do the surgery to save the boy's life. 24 hours....but maybe the boy has already died. And it was all this effort was for nothing. Because time is important in trauma injury treatment.
1000s of daily testing and surgeries requests are going to hit these new HHS agencies under the Obama plan. 1000s of daily approval need tobe given by them. So I don't think that I am off that far in the amount of time to get approvals back for trauma care procedures and surgeries under the Obama plan..

Do not worry too much TT... When the fabulous health care reforms of Obama administration starts you will see those docs you talk a bout or most of them will keep working in the exact same field because this job is a safe job and as tols before they can choose keep working in the private sector and doing much better than to day because there will be a fair compitition out there which is going to make them work harder and in benefit of all americans later on. Unless they are old and around retirenment age then the fall off is natural of course.

How ignorant, you really are. Recessions are a necessary evil. When an economy goes through a recession, the companies with poor business plans end up either reorganizing their companies, or go bankrupt all together; effectively "trimming the fat" off of the economy, allowing for the companies who competed for business, and had a solid business plan, to absorb the extra business from the company who folded. Once the recession is over, the surviving companies are even stronger than they were before the recession hit.
Of coarse, this all can be undermined if/when a government gives these failed businesses bailouts.
