Absolutely, 100000% NO..
For the people that choose to go through the "proper" channels to emmigrate, which costs a fortune and and alot of time and stress, they are going through all of that to become a Citizen LEGALLY, and therefore will expect to receive relevant rights as such.
For those who try and avoid the legal route, NO - Why the hell should they, or WOULD they, be entitled to ANYTHING..

Yes that's right. I could propose something much better and cost effective.... instead of paying for their health, why don't using them as food for the animals in the zoo's so you can save some money also from it (they are not legal, so they are not allowed to have any human rights)

Not that I agree with people stayin illegally in a country but here is another way of looking at it:
If they came to the US and found there were no jobs or oppertunities they would not stay, the fact that ere are so many means that they are finding oppertunites there - meaning someone is hiring them no? Are the people who are hiring them KNOWING that they are illegal not aiding and abetting the situation? If it costs a pound and a crown to become LEGAL and these people are already poor - how are they going to afford to go through the legal channels? When you advertise yourself as the land of milk and honey and oppertunity you can bet your bottom dollar that there are those who are going to want to get into your country by any means necessary and that included illegal means. JMHO.

It has nothing to do with human rights. They need to return to their own countries for health care. We have enough of our own citizens to deal with. If I climb the wall to your yard and break into your home are you telling me that I have to feed you dinner and let you stay there? Say what you want about our health care but it is excellent. I've lived in many countries including Greece and know what the health care is like there.

I am just pointing out that when you and me and everybody else in the civilized world creates and is practically responsible for the illegal imigration, it means that they should be at least treated as humans. It means that every country shall at least provide healthcare, food and shelter for them.
I do not know about your experience of the healthcare system in Greece, i agree that it is not the best, but everybody has the same rights in our healthcare system and this includes also the illegal immigrants. We pay from our taxes for them.

Given the fact that I am currently spending LARGE amounts of money and time going through the LEGAL route of Immigration into the US from Britain, this is a sore subject for me..

So, in that case, perhaps all immigration procedures and costs should be dropped for ALL, then..
Why should I pay large amounts of money, and spend hours and hours painstakingly filling out paperwork, because I want to DO IT PROPERLY, if I could just do the banana boat thing and get it for free??

as a former us resident. i hate a heart attack six years ago. without insurance. but in my book if you don't have a green card you don't get insurance. call it harsh if you like. but the people who belong in the USA cant get health insurance. or cant afford it. before anyone gets health insurance. the American citizens should get it first.

The health care system is broken now. The laws allowing anyone to get into the emergency rooms for care has almost destroyed all of the ER activities in states where there is a large illegal immigration population.
We can not pay for health care for the legal US population, so I am against providing to others who enter our country illegally.

How are they RUINING THE USA? Its not wrong to want a better way of life(it is however wrong to try to do so illegally)but it is also WRONG to hire people who are KNOWN to be illegal and thus those who hire are taking advantage of the situation thus contributing to this 'ruining'. Obviously my own situation is slightly different, as Im going down the Family Route for Permanent Residence, and I dont wish to go off topic here. But I have to say this: I have already been offered TWO jobs here in Ogdensburg, well paid jobs in offices, but am UNABLE TO TAKE THEM until my paperwork is all through.
So, because I am going down the legal route I am being penalised, because I KNOW FOR SURE that there are illegals working not 10 miles from here..

It's simple MavRik...This is a site for connecting singles in all sorts of ways, not just dating. But even if that weren't the case these types of threads do alot more to illuminate an individual's personality than the usual "how well are you hung" threads. For example, in your one short post it appears that you are quick to snap at others and show annoyance, yet you apparenty are only here to find love. And if you think GWB's actions in Iraq put us into this depression, I also know that your knowledge of politics is sorely limited.
