This is an area which I have refused to look into.

Some members of Congress, last week, refered to "V" during the Health Care debate. I had no idea what they were talking about, so I watched many episodes last week. This is a new concept that I still have not devoted any time towards the thought of it being possible, much less probable.

I am getting ready to watch the origional version of The Matrix, for the first time ever. I suppose I am way behind everyone else with this thought process, but I am comfortable with that.

So excuse me while I admit I am ignorant on this subject. I have not read thru this thread to see what anyone else here perceives.

Many here already call me a nut case without ever having gone in the direction you have voiced. Hey, maybe they will now have "nicer" thoughts of me!

I like this post. It is pretty psycadellic, but I am not sure if brig777 is serious or if all of this is hyperbole. If you are serious I just want to give you a little heads up. Sometimes we can come across things in our life that we cant explain. We know that there is something going on deeper, and on a spiritual level, but we lack the information needed to see the actual reality. Our brain therefore searches for things that might accurately explain the situation at hand. Without all of the information we can sometimes get into a position where we end up being convinced of something that isnt actually true. Maybe it seems at times like our family and freinds are all against something that we are doing and if drugs are involved, without knowing the full extent of the communication family members and friends have been having one toward another, we might make an assumption that since your dad said something, and then a few days later your friend from college said something that there must be some sort of psychic communication between all of the people that have been confronting you on whatever issue. One could then, by seeing certain parralels between your family and friend possibly conclude that they are actually being controlled by some source outside of themselves perhaps, maybe even aliens. These aliens obviously are trying to keep you from getting to a place of true enlightenment. (in reality maybe your family and friends were concerned about your drug use and planning an intervention) You, through ignorance of the reality came to the conclusion that your family and friends were all psychic, controlled by aliens that were trying to keep you from enlightenment. The reality was simply people who care about you talking to one another on cell phones orchestrating an intervention. Nothing outlandish, just life in general.

Just remember, people are just going about thier day to day lives, no Aliens in controll, nothing of the sort. What you are seeing is a reaction to something else that you dont have the information that you need to see what really is going on. You will figure it out.

Geez, I knew that Iceland had an enormous alcohol problem, and most people can and do tolerate drunks, but this is just too alienating to bear, or would that be bare...

In other words, to sum it up, her mind is being entertained with distraction, which limits her ability to fulfill the enlightenment of which her true purpose is calling her to be.

I heard Winkie Pratney speak on this at a conference years ago.
He stated that the whole alien concept was a distraction to prevent us from fulfilling our calling.

I was only speaking about coming to false realizations about life and the reality you are in based on lack of information. I think that her blossoming spirit is doing fine, but it seems like she would do well with a reality check. This world is an amazing place and there most definitely are hieghtened states of conscienceness that can be attained, but her Aliens to me seem like scapegoats for something negative in her life that she doesnt want to accept her part of the responsibility for. It is easyer for her to find an enemy who takes the blame. At some point because she didnt know how to handle or understand something that she was expeiriencing, she decided that aliens were the reason. In fact, all of the worlds ills are the fault of aliens and not the fact that principalities of good and evil, selfishness and selflessness are at war within each person.

Then it needs to be put in proper perspective, with principalities and powers of darkness being at fault for the creation of the scapegoat aliens in her mind?

Then, get to the root of the experience which led her to create this scapegoat and see that she has been deceived? And deal with it correctly and receive her healing as she releases forgiveness?
