How many miles a year do you ride a bike? (13)
I travel in my RV for months on end and I bring my bike with me. I use it to ride throughout the community, park or area that I am spending time enjoying. I don't count the miles, but usually ride out about an hour before I return. My GPS allows to not to worry about where I am because it can find my way home.

None, since I was about 13 years old, but my feet take me everywhere I need to go, within distance and reason on a daily basis. If the distance is too far to walk then I use public transport.

Hey, I must be fitter than I thought.
No, my hat blows off when a bus overtakes me, so I leave it at home

I used to see tiny hordes of bicyclists on the road side at rush hour after work. I think that's nuts becaue they were inhaling lung bucket-fulls of car exhaust. But, there's no point in putting on their stretchy little outfits and parading their buts up and down the street unless somebody is watching. Or, being forced to watch.

About 5 miles a day to and from work but minus the tight clothes... Sweet mountain bike rather than racer. I do own a car but unless its raining properly(about 10days a yr here)i ride. keeps me fit, saves on petrol.

I used to do 10 to 12 thousand miles a year. But my sence of ballence got screwed up, and it only takes a split second at 70 miles an hour. Oh, you meant the ones you have to ,UGGH, pedal. Sorry.

About 11 years ago, I was riding about 10,000 miles/yr - 300 miles per week as a member of the county bike trail safety patrol plus a 75 to 100 mile recreational with GF on Sundays.
