Yes, I agree. You put down looking for friends and they say they want a relationship. Obviously not reading the profile.
navygirl1: I used to reply to all emails and flowers but since I changed my profile from relationship to Hangout; I have been getting nothing but rude comments and scammers to my block list is becoming hugh. Why don't these idiots grow up?

Yes, its a courtesy for the sender. Though not all reply, some just ignore you which is rude but what can you do?

No as it would be misleading to those who are looking for a relationship. I am not here for that; just some pals.
All mail from anyone under 30 gets immediately blocked, I'm not interested in children...30-35 I'll read but usually just block, still too young. 35 up I'll read and possibly reply. anyone who sends me their email address in a first contact automatically gets blocked.....If I want to chat I'll go to the pub....

Nope, not anymore alot of them don't make sense and clearly they have not read my profile or they would not have written what they had and contacted me in the first place.

yes I agree and do much the same, I do try to reply to flowers even if it is just Hello, but only if I can see they visited my profile.
I do the respectful thing and always say thankyou but no thankyou, and allot of times they then start emailing me

I don't reply all the time I personally would rather if I email someone and they are not interested that they do not reply. Who wants to hear not interested all the time that would just be depressing. I think sometimes its better to be cruel to be kind and I wouldn't want to knock someones confidence when they may be a great guy but just not my type of person.

I always answer a message or a flower. I thank the person for their interest, and tell them if I'm interested too. We'll see what happens afterward.

Some people cannot even take it if you want to HELP them improve their English. I do not like pointing out ERRORS, just HELP, which is much better, less offensive and mostly - if possible I will throw in a suitable joke or a funny statement.
I always try to CHEER PEOPLE UP, and not break them down!!
- We all have enough STRESS as it is!!!

We should take more time to UNWIND and DE-STRESS !!
- Soft and calm MUSIC, especially Classical Music can help there - even though it is not so calm and soft sometimes!
Certain modern BEATS are breaking down various forms of LIFE, as a certain research was revealing (some years ago - I forgot the details ...).
But it goes something like this:
In 2 rooms music was played to a collection of various plants.
In the one room they played pop and rock music and in the other one harmonious classical music.
The plants in the one room where the classical music was played everything was growing well, but in the other room some plants died and others grew in strange shapes and ways.
Yes and animals also love music, at least my dogs do! Now why would they prefer CLASSICAL MUSIC ??

Well they most likely also feel the calm and melodic and harmonious flow of the melody and the right rhythm and beat.
- Their instinct tells them, or what?
Instinct:
When they do not feel well, they eat a specific plant or grass, so they can throw-up and thereafter they are feeling better again!

Normally I reply out of courtesy but if it is obviously a scammer or someone way out of my age group then I don't encourage them. "Management reserves the right to refuse service to a customer". It is always flattering but I was born at night...it just wasn't last night.

DittoMost of the time, I do send a wee flower just to say "thankyou" if it is a compliment, or "thanks but we're not a match" if that's relevent. It can be quite stressful sometimes though, when people insist on not taking a hint and just keep mailing you. Sometimes politeness can backfire!
